I glance at the page and frown. "You think this will solve everything?" Sage flicks to the next page and nods. "Definitely. You'll see why after reading it yourself." He says while holding out the book. I take it from his hands and slide into a sitting position against the shelves. Just from quickly glancing at other pages, I see what Jess says is true. She does have an amazing life, a life you would think only exist in movies or books.

"Wow." I whisper as I flip through the pages. The next page, then the last page. Which has a picture of a crushed car next to writing. "Oh my God..."

The writing says:

Jessica Carter was returning home from the Library one day when a car side swept her Lexus. The driver who hit her reportedly had just come back from a party and was intoxicated. Jessica's car was pushed into a pole during impact, crushing her and her car. It took five firemen to get Jessica out of the car. Paramedics say Jessica was lucky to survive the crash. She was immediately rushed to the hospital where she was put in a medically induced coma. She has yet to wake up.

"Sage look at the date." I point at the bottom of the page where the date reads August 18, 2015. "That's today..." I whisper. He stares at the date, silent. "Hey Jessica when did you say you arrived at the library?"

Jessica frowns. "Just today, I told you that."

Sage nods, then grabs the book. "I think you need to read this." He takes the book to Jess and sets it in her lap where she immediately she tries to push it away. "I told you I didn't want to know!" Sage shakes his head and gives it back to her. "Jess it's not what you think, you really need to read this."

She hesitates. "Is it bad?" Sage doesn't say anything, and neither do I.

She nods and gets a better hold of the book. "Fine." She takes a deep breathe before reading the same page that me and Sage did.
