"It says I was in, I mean I'm in a coma. But how? What does this mean?"

"Well for starters it means you're not dead." Sage says, breaking his previous silence. He motions for the book and Jess gives it to him. "I have a hunch that if we all find our books, it will all say the same thing on the last page. Which is....anyone care to guess?"

Clyde frowns and fumbles with his own paper. "That we're all in comas?"

"Bingo!" Sage flips all the way to the end of the book showing us the article and the blank pages that follow. Everyone crowds around, myself included, as I stare once again at the newspaper article. "So does that mean our comas are somehow connected to a library too? Because it says here she was on the way back from one."

Sage frowns and closes the book. "It's possible, I really don't know."

"I wonder-"

"Guys!" Clyde suddenly yells. I sigh, prepared for some melodramatic act, but when I turn around that's not at all what I get. "What the...." A bright light suddenly consumes Jessica's paper. It lasts only for a couple of seconds before disappearing. When it's gone I immediately notice that what is in Jessica's hand isn't the book that was there just moments ago.

"A library card?" Jess asks, staring down at the card in confusion. I frown too, staring at the obvious piece of plastic. "Huh, can you flip it over?" She obliges and shows us the back of it which is completely blank.

"I-it's a map!" Jess says, staring wide eyed at the shiny card.

"What do you mean a map? There's nothing on that card!" Clyde yells.

Jess shakes her head and holds up the card for us all to see. "No it's a map, look! We just have to take a couple more turns and it should lead us to the front desk. This way!" Before we can stop her she starts running down the aisle, calling out directions as she goes.

Clyde immediately begins to follow, but I hesitate. "Should we?" I ask Sage, who also stayed behind.

He shrugs and waits only a moment more before he starts running in the direction they went. "Wait guys, wait up!" I say before trying to catch up.
