A/N Hey sorry for the cliffhanger.....JUST KIDDING NOT SORRY AT ALL MWAHHAHAHAHAHA
-------------
Just. Five. More. Steps and.... phew I'm in the one place he can't go. The girls restroom. I walk over to the sink and start to splash cold water on my face, when I hear a knock on the bathroom door. I make my way back over and sit on the ground in front of the door."Andi, I know that this is the girl's restroom, but I wanted to tell you I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said what I did, when I did. Now please come out so we can talk face to face," Asher says through the crack between the door and the trim.
We both stayed silent for another five minutes until I attempt to open the door, but fail due to Asher's weight on the other side.
"Hey, Ash?"
"Yeah?"
"Can you please get off the door. I can't seem to be able to force you away from the door enough to open it."
"Oh...Uh...yeah, sorry," he says moving off the door
"Come on Ash, it's almost time for the departure bell to ring. We should go get our st-"
"Already got our bags, Ms. Grey," Asher interrupts
"Well then, we might as well head off to continue the rest of our schedule led journey."
"Yes. Yes we might as well."
We walked to the bus in silence as I debated whether or not I was going to tell him. Asher held my hand as I climbed the small set of stairs on to the school bus, then carefully he guided me to our seat. No later than five seconds after I sat down I came to a conclusion on what I was going to tell him.
"Fine. Asher, I'll tell you about the incident. About three years ago, when I was first sent to Northwood in 6th grade, many people were awed by my talent, even some of the junior and senior fire users. Large quantities of us elemental students traveled through the hallways showing off to each other, having contests, and almost anything else we could come up with just like any other day. There were always great experiences to be had and the best part was we didn't have to take regular classes. At the time we were only required to take elemental courses, so most of us had all our classes together, with a few exceptions. We all got along pretty well, but that day in particular we were all acting like extreme show offs, because we had our midterm exam on who had most improved over the course of the semester and we all wanted to psyche each other out. We plowed into the classroom and created a ruckus while waiting for our instructor, Mr. Luminous, to begin the exam. He took the roll call and began the exam in reverse alphabetical order-by-first-name, so I would be going second to last. Lots of astounding presentations were given such as a ten foot tall ice sculpture of the Taj Mahal, homework-checking wind cyclones, energy orbs that floated behind you and glowed in the dark on your way to the bathroom, a literal asteroid belt, and even a fiery dragon that danced around the classroom that my brother made. Then it was my turn. I had been practicing my routine for months until I couldn't get it wrong and I didn't until the final piece of my presentation. I was supposed to create a horizontal ring of fire that rotated counter-clockwise around me, and that's when everything went wrong.
