It took us a few days to finally get to California. We made a couple stops along the way, delaying the trip a little. Kendra and Sage managed to convince me to get a tattoo, while we stopped somewhere in Nevada. I had gotten a dandelion with the seeds flying away with a saying, "Sometimes it's better to let go". Sage had gotten a red rose on her upper arm and Kendra had a heart with her mom's name, birth and death date.

We pulled into the parking lot of the apartments we were going to look at. And if they looked anything like they were described to us, we were hopefully renting one here. The landscape and building were gorgeous, I was honestly excited to see the inside. The one we were looking at had 3 bedrooms, we wanted some sort of privacy. The rent, you'd think would be outrageous, actually wasn't. It was within our budget. The deal was, it would come with the living room furniture, along with some for the kitchen. This left us to style our own rooms.

The landlord showed us up to the apartment, which was on the third floor. When we opened the door, my breath was taken away. The kitchen was newly remodeled, with the fridge almost brand new, the granite counter tops complimented the white cabinets and wooden flooring. The living room had a deep blue leather couch with a deep brown lazy boy recliner.

"The couple that rented this apartment remodeled everything, soon after they moved in. They left what they didn't need, but had to make sure that I didn't raise the price on the rent after they left." Terry, the landlord said as we stood in awe.

This was a perfect apartment. We all knew this was the one we wanted. I mean who wouldn't want to take this? This was gorgeous.

"How much are you girls going to want to pay?" Terry asked, leaning against the island in the middle of the kitchen.
"Well we each agreed that we would pay 350 each. So about $1,050." Kendra said, pushing her glasses up.

"I think I can work with that. I'm guessing that you're going to hand in the money each month?" Terry asked as he pulled out the paper work for the apartment.

"Yes I am. We actually have this months rent if you need it right away." Kendra pulled out the money and looked at him.

"You'll be fine for a few weeks. I just need you to sign these papers and then you guys can move in." Terry smiled, his crooked, but nearly white teeth showing as he pushed the papers and a pen towards Kendra.

Kendra signed the papers and Terry left. We all turned towards each other and had a group hug.

"Welcome to Cali girls!" Kendra squealed as she squeezed us.

It took us an hour to set things up in the apartment. We needed to go grocery shopping for more food and furniture shopping tomorrow as well for our bedrooms, since we didn't have room for our mattresses in the van.

"We should go out tonight to celebrate! Maybe we can meet a few friends." Sage suggested.

"That's not a bad idea. I think I saw a club just down the road." Kendra agreed.

I just nodded my head. I knew that we wouldn't be able to get past the bouncer without an ID.

We got ready, the only thing that I really had fit for a club was a black pencil skirt, a deep blue shirt that could be tucked in and a pair of black heels. Kendra had her flat iron and curling iron out. I borrowed the curling iron and did my hair. My light brown hair laid to about my chest when it was finished. I did the smokey eye to bring out my eyes. As I finished I turned to look at Sage.

"Immy, you look amazing. I won't be surprised if a couple guys decide to hit on you." Sage said with a wink as she finished up her make up.

"Thanks." I said quietly, my cheeks turning slightly pink.

I always admired Sage and Kendra. They were both gorgeous, which I envied a little. Sage had black hair with exotic green eyes, with a perfect skin tone. Kendra had curly red hair but almost always had it straighten, the right amount of freckles specked across her face and deep brown eyes.

"Well, let's get our party on!" Sage exclaimed as she slipped on her white heels.

We arrived at the club and made it past the bouncer which took me by complete surprise. The bass made the atmosphere feel almost electric. I made my way to the bar, following Kendra and Sage through the crowd. I was a little uneasy on getting a drink. Sage handed me a drink which I was a little questionable.

"We're going to go dance, you wanna come?" Kendra yelled over the music.

I shook my head no and smiled. They disappeared into the crowd and I took a seat by the bar. I sipped my drink, only soon to finish it. I ordered another one and took out my phone to scan through my newsfeed on Facebook. An hour and a half ticked by, and neither Kendra nor Sage came back to check on me.

I sighed softly, knowing the girls were obviously dancing with some guys they met on the dance floor. Someone tapped my shoulder, causing me to jump a little. I was expecting to see a drunk Sage or Kendra, but my gaze met with a pair of familiar deep brown eyes that I could just get lost in.

"Immy? What are you doing here?" Tony asked with concern written on his face.

I cleared my throat and smiled a little, this was so unexpected. I thought I would never meet him again, after the fact that neither one of us traded numbers.

"I'm here actually with Kendra and Sage. We just moved into an apartment and wanted to celebrate. What are you doing here?" I asked, taking a sip of my drink.

"Tonight is our last night on Warped Tour and we decided to celebrate too. I didn't know you were moving across the country." Tony answered and glanced down at his feet.

God did Tony look amazing. He had his signature snapback on, a black button up with black jeans and what I assume black converses. His dark brown hair sat perfectly messy on his shoulders, with his deep brown eyes that intrigued me, even though they were a common color.

"So where are you friends?" Tony spoke after a moment of silence.

"Truthfully, I don't know. They went to go dance about an hour and a half ago. Neither one came back." I answered, taking a sip of my drink.

"Well why don't we head out of here. You shouldn't really even be here." Tony said, smiling slightly.

I bit my lip as I looked around the bar area, then the dance floor. Kendra nor Sage were in sight.

"Sure why not." I finally said, rising from my seat.
