Chapter 11

"Tyler" I yelled once I got to school
"Hey, how are you doing girl?" He said
"My dads out of jail"
"What?"
" yeah and he beat me last night"
"OMG Caysi we need to go the police again"
"If you want to you can"
"I'm not going without you" he yelled
"Please I have to do homework and I have to go home right after this" I said
"Text him and say you are going to a friends house"
"He said he wanted me home so I didn't get lost"
"Are you serious? Since when did he give a crap about what happens to you?" He yelled
"Can you stop? Your making a scene" I said about to cry
"Look I'm sorry I'm just mad that he is out of jail"
"Well yeah so am I but I'm just worried. Can I stay at your house tonight please?" I ask
"I thought you couldn't and yes you can." He said with sympathy in his voice
"Yeah I am i'll just sneak out and go to your house later tonight."
"But won't your dad beat you if he finds out?"
"Yes but who cares"
"I care and you know who else does? God cares and so does Jessie"
"Why does your boyfriend care anyway?"
"Let's just get to class we are already late" he said
After school Tyler and Jess walked me home.
"Caysi" I heard Jess say
"Yeah" I say back
"You know you can call me whenever you need me right or even Tyler." Jess said
"Yeah I know" I said as Jess and Tyler came over to me and gave me a big bear hugs.
As they were walking away from the house I walked into the house. The house seemed empty so it wasn't hard to get my stuff and get to Tyler's house.
