"Hey business is good today eh?" The bartender smiled back at Rick. "Lots of people coming through town since the demon king fell, times have been good."

"Hahah, times have been good on your pockets, eh?" He smirked back at the bartender, "Eleven?"

Rick was a tall former Britannian soldier that had settled down for a peaceful life after the Zero Requiem. He had shaggy blonde hair, and a rugged look to his face  that made him seem like he was in a mood to beat someone up, though he hardly liked violence. He had a muscular body that showed what years in the army required, and a strong stench of old Britannian beer came off him like stink off blue cheese. He wore a torn, brown, leather jacket and a set of gray sweat pants. He was well known in these parts for being a nice guy and always helping out, though he has a peculiar sense of humour, accompanied by a loud hearty laugh, that made everyone cringe whenever he made a bad joke.

The bartender sighed: "Rick, you have to stop with the bad war jokes. You've already driven off a number of my customers." A loud bellowing laugh came from Rick.

"Sorry, sorry, just comparing the bad times to the good times," He smiled wistfully, "You can't imagine how people have changed since then..." They heard a catcall from the front of the bar, alongside a few whistles. A beauty with lime green hair, and Mona-Lisa smile walked in with a body you only saw from the finest of Britannian royalty. She strutted to the back with a confidence of 10 men, seemingly unaware of the heads she turned.

"Excuse me, but where is the inn?" This building was the first people saw when entering the town so it was not unusual for people to come asking for directions here. The bartender looked stunned and didn't answer, so the girl turned to Rick.

"Are you deaf as well or can you give me some directions?" Rick laughed so loud the whole bar shook. After about 10 seconds he calmed down and smirked at the girl.

"You are one hell of a girl! First building on your right, after the second left turn down the street." The mysterious girl smiled and turned to leave.

"Hey wait! I didn't catch your name." She turned around and raised her eyebrow.

"I'm C.C." And with that she left. Rick was dazed.

"Damn, that was a beauty eh? Funny too, I swear she is royalty or something." The bartender looked at Rick.

"Your chances of getting her are zero if she is." Rick waved him off and continued to stare at the entrance.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Pass me another bottle!"
