Chapter Two - Watching Over Her

My name is Natsu Dragneel. And im a Dragonslayer. My magic is used for the evil that dragons have been doing in my world, Sarum. Here in Earth this is where I am supposed to find her and bring her back. People here in earth seem to think there is a place called

" Heaven"

But they don't know the real truth...if a person from earth has died they are reborn with the same face but no memory of their past life in Sarum. And if that same person is to die in sarum then they are reincarnated here in earth, but with a different face and repeat. So basically circle of life.

Im the Prince of Sarum, Lucy Heartfilla is destined to die and be reborn in sarum as my Wife, the future queen of sarum, But as you can see...she is QUITE difficult to find. Im am to watch over her until she has turned 17 and take her with me. So in a way im like her guardian angel...ish...I Have been looking through caves, tunnels and houses to find Lucy. It's been 16 years now, I slowed down my aging time so I could find her. Im 18 so, I guess you can say ive been 18 for almost 16 years. But finding lucy is urgent....

"gahhh. Where is she at? Is she even real!!? You'd think finding her wouldn't be so hard." I said outloud.

I started walking around deep within the forest of magnolia,

This forest has a lot of fog going on.

It is said in the prophecy that a woman with her hair the color of the sun and her eyes the color of Hazel-nut chocolate, to have the most powerful magic in the entire universe...but if she's suppose to have the most powerful magic why can't I sense it?! I don't know if you could tell, but I most likely have a add problem. Its just-

Then I heard someone running, hearing them pant as they stop I ran behind a tree. wait is that...!? I took out a piece of paper with a picture drawn on it and some description, It read

Lucy Heartfilla age 16

Hair color Blond, Height 5'4, Hazelnut brown eyes,

Student of Magnolia Academy

I looked back at the girl. The detail of this fits that girls description. I started walking, as I was about to touch her shoulder...

"When I find you...you're in for it! You hear me Heartfilla?!" I hear a males faint voice.

This is her! Lucy Heartfilla! But...according to this document...she's being bullied by her friends..and her family?! She ran into a hallow tree. i walked behind the tree she was in.

I cant believe it...I have found her...I smiled.

What should I do?

What should I tell her?

What if she doesn't like me?

What if she thinks im scary?

What is she thinks...GASP

"Awww she not here!" a girl said.

"damnit! Shes going to get it tomorrow" said the same man I heard earlier

Who are they talking about...are they looking for lucy? I peeked around the tree and looks and the two people. Blond spikey hair....tall..i could be wrong but I thinking that's her brother....

I turned back around Hearing them leave I sat on the ground.

Should I say something...?Maybe ill wait and see.. A couple of minutes have gone by. I closed my eyes and started thinking. So..if shes suppose to die....i wonder how....and why? And why is she suppose to die in the forest....wait why am I even hanging around the forest? Now that I think about it...this must be the doing of those damn gods. The one with love and destiny or what ever comes first. Why would they be interfering unless it was urgent...but is her dying not urgent? Or is? I don't know all this thinking is making my head hurt! I hear a soft snore. Oh..she fell asleep...hm maybe it wouldnt be bad to see the future of my wife's dream right...?

I then focused my magic onto her, I saw a opening and went through it.

[ Dream ]

I looked around to find a little blond girl being kicked around by little kids.

"Hey wait stop!" as I tried to grab them my hand went through them.

"What the...?" then everything went dark. Nothing but pitch black and a woman crying on the ground. It's lucy...I walked up to her.

"Don't cry. " I said softy.

"I can't help it...no one wants me...my own father even despises me!" Her words...I looked down at her.

"Be Strong. Special things happen to special people." I lent my hand out She grabbed it and stood up.

"Special...?" I smiled and then i started walking out of her dream .

"Be Strong. No matter what happens. And be Brave Lucy." I told her.

She started running

"Wait! Don't leave me....! I don't want to be alone..!" she shouted before I left.

[ End of Dream ]

I got up, going around and peeking my head into the hallow tree, oh..shes still asleep. As I reached toward her she started opening her eyes a little shit! I ran quickly behind the tree again. Seeing her poke her head out she started walking out the forest. I followed her quietly. Don't worry, im just making sure she's gonna make it through alive.

Wait...Why should I follow her if she is to die in earth? I saw her exited the forest. I turned around walking back to where the hallow tree was. So...if shes to die here in the forest...I guess I can just wait for her arrival.
