Chapter 11- The Challenge

On the next morning while Jasmine's family are having a breakfast.

Mrs. Montez: Jasmine... we will be talking to your teacher later.

Jasmine: Huh? WHy?

Mr. Montez:We want to excuse you for about two days.

Jasmine: WHy? Where are we going?

Mrs. Montez: Its MOm's (refer to Grandma) birthday tomorrow right?

Jasmine: yuhhh... I remember..=)

On the next day, when they got to the province they saw Grandma, Mary Ann, Janna and Johndave waiting for them.

Jasmine: It really feels good to be back=) Happy Birthday Grandma=)

Grandma: Thank you Jasmine=) COme on.. Lets go inside..=)

Jasmine: Sure=)

She then look at Johndave and they kept on smiling to each other. They all celebrated Grandma's birthday.After their celebration, Jasmine and JOhndave talked again.

Johndave: Why didn't you tell me that you guyz are coming?

JAsmine: We wanted to surprise  Grandma ... and i wanted to surprise you too... just like what you did last week...Remember:)?

Johndave: Well i guess i'm really surprised:) SO when are you gonna say Yes to me?

Jasmine: Wait... Let me think about it:)

JOhndave: Its okay... I can wait:)

Jasmine: DO you really love me?

JOhndvae: DO i really have to say it again?

Jasmine: Well its okay if you dont:(

She kinda have that sad face because she's trying to make JOhndave feel guilty:)

Johndave: OKAy then...

JOhndave then kneeled down and:

Johndave: I really love you Ms. Jasmine Montez and i can wait for you... Whether you stop me or not...=)

Both of them then smiled... then Johndave stood up..

JOhndave: But I know you won't stop me cause I'm sure that you love me too=)

Jasmine: Woah=) that's so assuming of you... you know that=)

Johndave: But im pretty sure im right=)

The two of them just smiled then Johndave hugged Jasmine.

Johndave: I love You Jasmine=)

Jasmine just smiled. They were about to leave the next day when:

Jasmine: Mom... Can I go to school first..? Im just gonna check out my friends there=)

Mrs. Montez: OKay... But you better hurry because we're leaving after 20 minutes..

Jasmine: Thankz Mom... Bye...=)

She then eagerly ran all the way to their school and she kinda have that huge smile while seeing her friends but when she got to Mrs. Franklin's room, SHe saw Johndave and Nikki hugging each other.

She cried. SHe was about to leave when Johndave saw her.

JOhndave: Wait... Jasmine...

Jasmine walked faster but Johndave was able to grabbed her hand.

JOhndave: Wait Jasmine... Its not what you think...

Jasmine: Why?.. Do you know what im thinking?

She tried to laugh even if she's crying and she just keeps on wiping her tears.

Jasmine: You know me right?... I dont want to be hurt...

JOhndave: i Know... I know that...

Jasmine: Then why..? Why did you do this to me...? U know what... honestly, im really thinking that you're not like the other guy out there...thats why ive decided to say yes to you right now... But now... I think you're not worth it...

She then ran all the way to their car. She directly went inside their car and she eagerly closed the door. JOhndave kept on knocking the dooor.

JOhndave: Jasmine... Jasmine...

Jasmine kept on crying

Mrs. Montez: What happened?

Jasmine: Nothing Mom... LEt's go Dad...

Then they left. On their way, Jasmine kept on crying and Johndave kept on calling her.

JOhndave: Jasmine... Answer the phone please...

Jasmine kept on ignoring it... On that night, Jasmine remembered all her moments with Johndave. She remembered the moment she saw Johndave and Nikki hugging each other too...and the moment when she and Johndave had a fight. Johndave did the same thing and he still kept on calling Jasmine but still, Jasmine keeps on ignoring it...

After a while, Aunt Janna talked to JOhndave.

Aunt Janna: What happened to JASmine?

JOhndave: She saw me and hugging Nikki and i guess she misunderstood it...

Aunt Janna: If thats the case... then maybe you should give her some time... to think things over...
