Chapter 1

Selena combed her hair as fast as she could. Today, she was going to travel to the feudal era with her cousin Kagome Higurashi. She never knew she could pass through but that changed when she accidentally fell in and found out she could travel. She still didn't know how or understood it at all.

  She quickly put on her green school sailor uniform.She put on a red headband. "Selena, you awake and are you hungry? I got pancakes!" Kagome said walking into the room. She was already packed. Of course she would be glad to go back. She was in love with the half-demon InuYasha.

"I'm a little hungry."Selena replied. Suddenly her stomach growled really loud and she blushed.  "Actually.. I'm really hungry!"she laughed.

"You're so silly!"Kagome laughed. "Now eat up or they'll get cold and no one likes cold pancakes." Selena poured maple syrup and took a bite.

"Kagome..you should tell me the story when you first traveled to ancient Japan!"  She sounded like a young child wanting a story for bed.

"Ok. I guess we have enough time.." She set down her bag that looked really heavy. "It started one day. Sota was playing in the shrine with Buyo. He told me he couldn't find Buyo. When I found him, suddenly the well opened up with a centipede demon who pulled me in. She demanded that I give her the Shikon  no Tama. Back then, I didn't know what it was. I somehow made her let go of me. When I got out of the well, I realized I wasn't in Tokyo anymore. I walked into the forest and found InuYasha with a arrow in his chest and he was bound to a tree. I walked up to him and started touching ears. Silly right? A horde of arrows came in my direction. It was a group of archers. They tied me up and took me to their leader, Lady Kaede. She at first thought I was a demon but then looked at me for a while. She told me I looked like her deceased sister, Lady Kikyo. At some point, everyone accepts me as the reincarnation of their dead priestess. At night, the centipede demon attacked the village looking for the jewel. I tried to get her out of the village by running out of their. I tripped while running and a I heard a voice. It was Inuyasha but he was awake. He called me Kikyo but I kept telling him I'm not Kikyo. The centipede came at me again. So did lady Kaede and some archers. The demon centipede rips out the jewel from my side. She transformed into a uglier looking demon. Inuyasha told me to pull out the arrow in his chest. Kaede told me don't do it but I wanted to live so I pulled it out. He easily destroyed the demon but he then wanted to destroy me! He demanded me to give him the jewel. Kaede used a spell on nenju beads. They went around InuYasha's neck. and she told me to use a subdue word. I didn't know what that was so instead I said sit and it subdued him. And You know the rest of the story."

"Like the part you realize you love him."

"Selena!'Kagome blushed. "It doesn't matter since he still holds feelings for Kikyo."

"She was resurrected, right?"

"Yeah now she walks around and InuYasha can't stop thinking about his first love."

"Despite that, you still love him right?"

"Yeah. No matter how hardheaded, mean, or arrogant he is. I will always love him." Selena smiled. That's Kagome for you.

"....We should get going Kagome."

"I almost forgot! Bye mom!" Kagome's mom waved bye to both of them as they ran out the door into the shrine. "Ready?" She offered her hand and she took it.

"Ready!" Selena smiled as she got ready to jump into the bone-eater's well. "Let's go!" she said as they jumped in to go to Feudal Japan.
