🏮17:THE PULVERIZING PAIN

Roaming and scavenging the city were things that the homeless would do to survive. But that was almost long gone due to the "Crimson Soldier". Going on on patrol separately, Y/n wasn't used to anymore. But needed to from time to time in order to help people that needed it. Leaping from roof top to roof top with a bag filled with goodies wasn't an easy task.

Her back ached due to the weight that shifted as her legs landed on top of a roof. Mr. Bruce had changed his location due to the purple dragons finding out he was snitching on them. When Y/n found out she was worried as hell. The homeless man was nearly beaten to death. Needless to say some of the purple dragons wouldn't be seen for months.

Splinter already disciplined her after finding out that she nearly killed the purple dragons. She had been acting out lately which surprised the elder. Y/n just listened to him anyways, feeling bad already for what had happened. The guys were just confused, Raphael was concerned.

Landing near a building with a hard thud triggered something on her lower abdomen. A loud yelp was heard as she clutched it in pain. Breathing heavily she tried to shrug it off but the pain only began to sear throughout her lower back.

"Sh*t" the young kunoichi cursed holding on the bag with all her strength. "Almost there" she mumbles landing near an abandoned pigeon coop.

"Crimson, you alright?" A voice resonated from inside.

"Yeah, don't worry Mr. Bruce" her male voice answered back with slight discomfort.

"Don't move, sir. You are still injured" opening the door to the makeshift camp he made. Her eyes watered a bit seeing him in that state.

"Stop moping around young man" he said with a hoarse voice. "This is not your fault"

"It is...I asked you for intel and look...those bastards put their hands on you" gritting her teeth she passes him a bottle of water.

"What is done is done. You should just worry about what's happening within these streets." grabbing the bottled water with his hands shaking only made Y/n get more frustrated with herself.

"I...should've ended their life's...so no harm could be done again" that triggered something in Mr. Bruce. Grabbing the young girl's ninja hoodie and flinging her with a bit of his strength.

"Don't ever say that again Crimson. Killing isn't for the heroes...I know you are tired and worried about me. But it's not your decision on who gets to live and who gets to die" his eyes were full of disbelief. How could a young "man" be filled with that much hate?

A burning sensation filled Y/n's heart...who the hell was she becoming? Her jaw tightens as she tries to retort back but the voice inside her head scolds her again. The homeless man already suffered a lot, scaring him with her words was not something she wanted to do. Handing him some ancient chinese herb that her mother used to treat wounds she walked back to the pigeon coop door.

"I'm sorry..."her (e/c) eyes turned blank as she left her friend.

Was she wrong?...Wrong to think that whoever inflicts pain on the innocent, should suffer the consequences of their actions? With a soft sigh Y/n opened the opening to the sewers. The lair was a bit too quiet which triggered her senses. Getting inside the restroom the abandoned train subway had installed.

Her eyes widened as she scanned her ninja attire. A stain was now visible on her pants. Pointing them near the only light source made her cringe. The blood she had shed on her mission was now a dark scarlet color. Too bad it wasn't just normal blood.

"I thought I had more time..." she mumbled to herself.

Being stressed by her mother's captive state made her get irregular periods. Y/m/n would've been deeply concerned due to that but now Y/n wasn't taking care of herself that much. Breathing heavily she got her period undies. Her mom got her those kind of undies when she started her period at 11 years old. The oldest woman knew how stubborn her daughter was, not training wasn't negotiable to the child.
