Uncle Billy waited outside for us. Him and uncle Marshall would drive the U-halls along with dad, he drove the third one. Mom and I rod in the car.
I was suddenly happy to leave Hollywood. It was a relief that I didn't haft to go to school with no friends. I could go to a new place and have a new start and new friends. People wouldn't know me and I wouldn't know them. It seemed like a blessing, but at the same time a lesson.
Mom stopped at a gas station and got gas. She met a man at his car and handed him a peice of paper, he signed it and handed her a black suitcase and in return she handed him a key. After that we hit the road again. I knew what the suitcase was for and what was in it. Money was in it and it was from selling the house. Mom and dad always said they'd sell it if we moved, and they did. Mom reached over and smoothed my hair and she reassured me that the change was good. I smiled at that thought and dazed off into the haze no one else could see, except me.
Plenty hours passed, and we were parked in front of a hotel. When I could see straight I knew automatically we weren't close to Hollywood anymore. Dad helped me out of the car because I wasn't fully awake yet. Dad helped me to my feet which felt like pines and needles where in them. My legs didn't wanna stand so uncle marshal carried me inside. When we got inside he put me down, but had his arm around my wast so I wouldn't collapse. I couldn't believe I was so tired. What time is it? Where are we? How long have we been on the road?
I had a few questions to ask, but instead I just stood quietly while dad booked a room for five. The lady handed dad a key and we entered an elevator. I hate elevators. Why? Let's just say I watched movie where this old lady kept killing people on the elevator and it wouldn't move, it lost power and only one person survived and the lady was shot by an officer as soon as they opened the elevator shaft. The guy never got on an elevator again or left God for that fact! ;-)When I smelt the delicious scents of pizza I snapped out of my trans and looked up at uncle marshal to see him eating pizza and watching tv with his arm around my waste.
Marshal wasn't that old only 25 and he was good looking. He and Billy didn't live in Hollywood so they must've lived in Sunnyside. Billy is only 28. He's not bad looking he just looks tough and like a western cowboy they called trail bosses. He was fit and one thing that took girls breath away about him was his broad features and his sweet and homey voice. Sometimes it took me for a ride on the love boat, but he get busy and I'd fall out.
I yawned and stood up looking for a bathroom . I found one entering and closing the door. I looked at myself and I looked very tired. Restless. I came out after washing my hands and got pizza and sat beside marshal. He wrapped his arm around my waste again and kissed my forehead. I looked at him and raised my eyebrow and giggled.
Billy and dad played poker and laughed here and there, then called marshal over to play too. He went and mom took his place beside me. We watched criminal minds and ate pizza. It was a pretty decent show besides all the murders. I loved the mysteries ms they young white FBI cop that always looked tired and was shorta pale. He's hot!
Then mom turned it to some kinda Soap Opera and we waxy he'd it. She likes corny stuff like that so insistented I was interested into it.
There was one scene that caught my attention. This little girl came to her window and looked up at a full set of stairs, she had a tear roll down her cheek and her voice was so sweet with a twist of bitter. She said---
"Dear lord? Do you hear mommas cries?
Do you hear her soundless pleases?
Dear lord? When she's down on her knees?
Do you hear her cries of pain?
Dear lord, do you listen to her prayers?
Dear lord, do you even care?
Do you see her ache and anguish?
Dear lord, will you save her or let her vanish?
Do you feel her always trying?
Will you show her love?
Do you even exist far above?
She can't see, hear or feel you, is your word really true?
Dear lord, will you help her survive?"That part was and is beautiful poetry...
I looked down at my plate and my sleepy Lisa felt heavy ms I drifted off into a fimilar darkness we call sleep.

When I woke up i could smell coffee and bacon along with eggs and toast. I sat up and looked at the raffled pillow beside me. Marshal must've slept there last night....
I got up for up and used the restroom, then got in the shower.
The kiction smelled of Hale nut coffee, regular coffee, Camacho and walnuts. On the counter sat donuts, bacon, eggs and toast. We ate and we on the road again. After five or six hours we reach a twin that was nothing at all like Hollywood, at all. There was a greeting board that read: 'welcome to Russell/ Sunnyside.
I let out an inside sigh and realized we reached our final destination. Russell/Sunnyside. 😒
