I fear for you,
Even though I see you for a few seconds,
Most likely never to be seen again.
I almost wish it wasn't true,
But it is.
I fear for your pain.
Why?
I see motorcyclists rolling,
Only they aren't wearing leather.
It's all too easy for me to imagine them getting road rash.
I feel what I see, on a mental level.
If I had a power like Yellowfang's, that wouldn't be far from the truth.
But I feel your pain with my mind.
I can handle my own pain.
But, oh, the devastating irony.
I can't handle yours.
Even though I wish, I can't.
Gem the jewel dragon,
She can handle other's pain.
Even though I made her, and she is based off me,
I just can't.
I fear for other's to be in pain.
I don't like seeing it,
I don't like imagining it.
It hurts me too much.
It hurts me to see you in pain,
Even if you are nothing but a stranger.
