"Fuck it I'll start" Ivana impatiently spoke, rolling her eyes towards the 2 boys. She was more than happy to do this task, her oldest friend cut off one of her fingers, its the least Ivana could do to repay Natalia. Ivana picked up the blade, and in one swift motion she cut down her arm and watched the blood drip into the scale. Ashton grabbed another strip of his shirt, ready to wrap up his, Ivana's and Michael's arms. The scale then read that there was a total of 2 pints in the scale. Ivana took her arm away and Ashton wrapped it up whilst Michael began cutting down his arm also. When Michael got the scale to 4 pints, Ivana took a strip of Ashton's top and wrapped Michaels arm. Ashton cut his arm and soon enough, the scales reached 6 pints but the door still wasn't opening. "The note said that the scales would open the door if we put 6 pints of blood in it I don't understand!" Ashton exclaimed. Luke ran over to where Michael had left the note and began reading it "shit" he muttered. The group turned around, signalling him to tell them what's wrong. "There is 6 pints of water in the left scale; you need to put more than 6 pints of blood in the right one so that the doors will open." Ashton sighed and put his arm back over the scale and watched as it slowly began to lower itself to the table. Ivana and Michael came back over to help, which sped along the process. Soon enough, the scale touched the table and the doors opened, allowing them to make their way to the where the next task lays.
The group walked on for what felt like an hour but it was really about 15 minutes. They were met with a T junction; only this time there was a sign on the wall. "So far finding each task has been easy. Now, it is more difficult. You have been wandering as a group, but now you must split. One group is to go down the left corridor; the other is to go down the right. Both groups must complete each tasks in order to leave the rooms and joined together again." Ashton read the sign, causing the girls to whine, not wanting to split up. "I say we stick with our couples, we'll feel more safe with our other halves" Natalia suggested faintly, still feeling a little weak after having to cut off her finger. Ashton nodded, not like he'd want to leave his girlfriends side anyway. The rest of the group agreed, now it was just a case of deciding what couples would be together. "Iva and I have pretty big cuts down our arms; Ash, Nat and Cal are injured too. If we go in teams that'll be fair for those that are already injured, the others can complete these tasks and then we'll decide who completes the next ones." Michael pointed out. The group nodded again, and decided to split into even teams; Ash, Nat, Cal and Bailey in one, Iva, Mikey, Luke and Pais in the other. The now split group depart and go their separate ways, Ashton's group down the left and Ivana's group down the right.
Both teams make it to their designated rooms and take a look around to find what they need to do to get out of here. Michael opens the door and they all walk in, trying to find he note. "Here!" Ivana found the note that provided the instructions of the task. "On the wall to your left, there are 4 tunnels. All are locked. Somewhere in the room, you will find the keys which will open each tunnel. To get out of the room and back to your friends, you must find the keys and crawl through the tunnels. They all need to be unlocked at the same time, otherwise the tunnels won't open. Good luck." Ivana read the note to the others who all started to franticly look for the keys. The group were in search for the keys for 30 minutes, panicking when they couldn't find the last one. "Fuck we need all the keys!" Luke yelled, holding the 3 found keys in his hand. The group began searching for the remaining key, but they had looked everywhere and couldn't find it, "Okay, think of where you'd want to hide something that you didn't want anyone to find, where would you put it?" Paislee asked, causing the group to think hard. Michael wandered off to the artwork on the wall, admiring its beauty and wondering why it was the only one in there. And then it hit him. "Behind a painting." He muttered as he pulled the frame off the wall, revealing the final key hidden in a hole where a brick should be. He returned to the group with the final key as Luke handed the others their own key for their tunnels. The group put each key in the locks and counted down from 3. "3, 2, 1, go!" Ivana shouted, and they all turned the keys to unlock the tunnels. One by one, the tunnel doors opened and they all climbed into the tiny space and began crawling through. "Iva are you okay?" Michael asked through the thin walls to his girlfriend who was on the other side. "I'm fine Mikey" Ivana replied. While Luke, Paislee, Michael and Ivana crawled through the tunnels, the others were still trying to complete the task in the other room.
Ashton tugged his hair in frustration and groaned. "This is the easiest fucking task we've faced today and we can't fucking do it! If we don't find those keys the others will get here and we'll all just be trapped in here!" Ashton shouted. Natalia flinched at the sudden loudness of his voice and went to calm him down. "Ash it's okay, they can help us look when they get here" Natalia attempted to calm Ashton, but he wouldn't. "I can't Nat, I can't just leave it for them to do. We weren't there to help them with their task, its not fair for us to ask them for help." Ashton sighed, he wanted nothing more than to go home and watch Netflix with Natalia, but he can't. Calum and Bailey were still looking for the keys, and screamed with happiness when they finally found one. "YES! I found one!" Bailey cheered, causing Ashton to perk up a little. Natalia convinced Ashton to start helping them search, and soon enough they each had a key in their hand. "Okay, so now we need to unlock the doors on the walls so that the others can crawl out, and then we can all look for the other key to open the door which will let us all leave." Ashton declared. They decided to sit and wait for the others to make it to the doors; they might know how to open them as they didn't have a clue, whereas Michael and the others had to open them in order to crawl through.
A few moments pass and Bailey hears a noise. "Did you hear that?" she questions the others, who furrowed their eyebrows in confusion. "Hear what, babe?" Calum asked. The noise Bailey heard sounded again, this time louder than before. "That!" Bailey exclaimed. It sounded like struggled groans, the occasional sound of heavy breathing. "What is that?" Natalia asked "It's us you fucking idiots" someone shouted, to which they soon found out to be Michael, as he poked his face through the bars in the tunnel. "Unlock the tunnels will you?" he demanded impatiently. "We had to wait for you guys, we didn't know if there was a specific way they opened" Ashton explained. Luke, Paislee and Ivana arrived shortly after Michael, also asking Ashton to unlock the tunnels. "You need to unlock them all at the same time so that we can get out." Luke chimed in. The 4 with the keys stood from their positions on the floor and made their way towards the tunnels. Ashton stood in front of Michael and waited for the others to stand in front of the doors which fit their key. "Okay, 1, 2, 3" they all inserted their keys and unlocked them in sync, allowing the others to crawl through. "I found this on a wall when I was crawling through and thought I'd bring it along, kind of assumed we might need it at some point." Ivana spoke up, pulling a rather large key out from behind her and handed it to Ashton. He smiled and took the key from her grasp, making his way to the door that will allow them to leave the room together. Once the door was unlocked, the now reunited group left the room and started their search for the third and final task.
