One - Paradise Park

It was a quiet Friday night, Ashton was at his house with Michael playing FIFA whilst waiting on the rest of the group to show up so that they could plan tonight's activities. "How's Natalia, Ash?" Michael asked. Ashton smirked and turned to face Michael "sore" then went back to focusing on his match. Michael let out a laugh "what a surprise" he replied, sarcastically. The two boys continued their match of FIFA until they were stopped by a squeal coming through the door. In came the rest of the group, with Bailey on Calum's back and the others trailing behind. "You guys make me sick." Ivana said jokingly to Calum and Bailey. Ivana walked into the living room and sat on Michael, taking the controller from him and playing FIFA. Michael groaned when she took the controller off him "Iva i was playing that!" Michael exclaimed. Ivana just laughed and kissed him, and his face lit up. He loved her, he truly did. He's been the happiest he's ever been with her, Ivana made him feel like he could do anything.

Ivana ended up winning on Michael's behalf which resulted in a sulking Ashton. He pouted when Iva refused a rematch, insisting they go to this place that she found down town. "So I was walking home from the shops the other day, and I found a short cut instead of talking the long way, you know down the road? Anyway I saw this abandoned warehouse and I Googled what it used to be, turns out it was an indoor amusement park back in the 80's. Didn't find anything on why it shut down but I thought it would be cool if we went and checked it out? Then we can go back to mine after and eat food or something". The group was obviously down for that. So they started the journey to the abandoned amusement park.

"This is so spooky, I love it." Paislee exclaimed. The group smiled to show that they agreed. The walls were starting to crumble away where it had been abandoned for over 20 years. The windows were smashed, and the door was cracked down the middle. The fence surrounding the park was falling and the gate was nowhere to be seen. "Let's go in" Ivana suggested. Calum had an eerie feeling, but that was normal. He always felt like that when they discovered somewhere new to cause trouble. The night air was cold, and the street was silent. The streetlight to the left was flickering just as it always had done, he occasional light illuminating the group as they walked towards the park. The group wandered over to where the gate would be and entered the fenced part of the amusement park. They walked up to the giant doors which would lead them to the park. Ashton kicked the doors open, causing them both to fall off the hinges as he proudly smiled to himself at what he had achieved. The group walked in all together, getting their phones out of their pockets to turn on their flashlights. The floor was dirty, covered in broken pieces of wood and glass, old advertisements of the park they were in hung upon some of the walls. "So this is the famous Paradise Park, my mom said she used to go here all the time when she was younger with my uncles." Luke muttered. Bailey thought of something, if Google didn't tell Ivana why it was shut down, maybe Luke's mom told him? "Hey Luke?" Bailey asked, receiving a "hmmm?" from Luke in return "did your mom tell you anything about why this place was shut down?" Luke thought for a moment, trying to remember the conversations he had with his mother in the past. "Something to do with the rides not working, people would sometimes get stuck at the top and the carts wouldn't move so there would be people stuck upside down for hours." The group cringed at the thought of being stuck on a rollercoaster for hours, upside down. "That's why I don't like amusement parks." Paislee mumbled, snuggling into Luke's side.

The group continued to investigate the amusement park, finding some comfort in being there. Calum noticed a door in the back left corner, assuming it was the kitchen or something for the staff. He walked over to check it out, signalling for the group to follow. When they got to the door, Calum turned the knob and pushed it open. They were greeted with a rotten smell, like dead animal or something. They put their flashlights on and looked into the room. Inside were hundreds of dead bodies, with slit throats and wrists. Their bodies were slowly decaying away, being the source to the horrid smell. Ivana screamed and ran to Michael, who was just as scared as she was but didn't want to show it.

The group backed away in horror and ran back to where the doors were, only to find them locked. "What the fuck I kicked them open about 10 minutes ago, they came off the hinges and everything!" Ashton exclaimed. The group nodded, recalling what happened when they got into the fenced area. Ashton did kick the doors off the hinges, they all saw it happen. Suddenly, the lights came on and so did the rides. Carnival music began playing, and the group were scared. "Okay, who did that?" Paislee asked, "Iva was it you?" she continued. Ivana was shocked "Pais, I've been here the whole time how would i have done it?" she pointed out. "You found the place; you could've put it on a timer or something i don't know." Paislee continued. Ivana rolled her eyes "It wasn't me, Paislee, this is my first time here like you guys, I swear it wasn't me." She promised. Luke piped in, "Then who did?" no one answered, so Luke continued "there's no one else here and if none of us turned them on, who did?" as Luke finished saying that, there was an evil chuckle. The girls screamed and clung to their boyfriends, who all had shivers down their spine at the spooky chuckle. The door where the dead bodies were slowly opened, and out came a man dressed in a suit. "Who the fuck are you?" Natalia rudely asked. The man just laughed. "Welcome, sorry I didn't mean to scare you with the lights suddenly turning on." "What do you mean 'welcome'? Why can't we get out?" Michael questioned. The man laughed again, and smirked. "Because you haven't completed the tasks."
