over the process of the next couple days they arrived at the country they needed to be at to go see vivi "were going to see the princess in alabasta right?" she asked "yup were going to see our friend" luffy said excited dagger giggled "i can't wait to see her again" nami said with a smile dagger smiled with a happy sigh "i haven't seen the princess in 6 months I wonder how she and pell are doing" dagger said "you know vivi and pell?" nami asked dagger nodded with a small smile "so how do you know the princess?" dagger asked "we helped bring her back to alabasta" luffy said "oh yes that's right I remember her telling me about it" dagger said "how do you know vivi?" nami asked "i was her body guard for a while" dagger said a couplejaws dropped "while there was an outbreak in assasinations I was traveling through alabasta and overheard someone talking about killing the princess now here the part in the story where people ask why and it's simply because I don't believe in killing anyone who is innocent of no wrong doings or aren't against me, i went to the castle and told the king he did not believe me and his daughter just happened to walk in at the time and I saved her from being shot so the king made me her body guard" dagger said as nami and robin dragged her to the clothing shop "wow that's pretty cool" usopp said "yup" dagger said  once they were all at the clothes shop they picked out outfits to protect themselves from the desert sun sanji kept insisting that the ladies should wear the dancer outfits "sanji no we'll all  burn" dagger said placing her hand on his shoulder sanji collapsed on the floor "eeek! someone call a doctor sanji is down!" chopper yelled "you are the doctor" usopp shouted "what did you do?!" luffy asked dagger frowned looking at sanji then her hand repeating the motions "what exactly did I do?" she asked "don't worry curly brows will be fine he's just a pervey chef" zoro said dagger chuckled before shooting him a smile dagger could swear her smile made his usual glare falter slightly everyone got changed nami paid for the clothe while dagger paid for her's and ace's before they set off for alabasta chopper was dying of heat so dagger dug into her bag for a couple minutes before pulling out a solar powered fan "here chopper" she said placing it in his little hands he sighed in relief "thank you dagger" he said with a smile she nodded  eventually the fan only provided little breeze for chopper as zoro had to drag him on a make shift sand sled leaving him with the fan blowing on his face "luffy you need to drink some water" nami said "i don't wan any water I want meat" luffy exclaimed "how much longer until we get to the half way point nami?" luffy asked in a whiney tone "ace what did you feed him as kids?" robin asked ace thought for a moment "well luffy and I used to hunt for meat in the wild" ace said there was a loud "ohhhh that explains it" from the group making dagger giggle "i swear even in situations where he could die the only thing running through his head is meat"  nami said "sounds like this guy over here" dagger said patting ace on the shoulder "i do not!" he shouted "alright your always thinking about food or how I'm able to pull the ace of spades every time we play poker" she said looking at him with a smirk he thought a moment before nodding "how do you do that anyway?" he asked "i don't know I guess the ace of spades really likes me" she said "hey ace weren't you captain of a crew called the spade pirates?" luffy asked "that's right I don't see why you bringing this up now" he said before pausing "wait....ohhhhhhh I get it" he said dagger frowned slightly robin noticed her confusion "dagger think about what you just said and then what luffy said" robin explained "wait for it wait for it" ace said everyone looked when dagger's eyes widened "i'm talking about the card! people get your minds out of the gutter" dagger exclaimed everyone laughed at her embarrassment she shook her head and they ventured on into the sandy desert a few ours later when the sun began to set "sanjiiiiiii fooooood" luffy complained "there's a group of rocks up ahead we could set up camp there" robin said everyone seemed to agree and luffy took off running towards the assembly of rocks "oi luffy wait up don't get yourself into trouble!" nami shouted before she sighed "nami i think you've got a little feeling for your captain there" dagger whispered she heard robin giggle and dagger looked over seeing her nod she turned back seeing nami's face a bright shade of red "so it seems i'm right then?" dagger asked nami simply bit her lip and nodded "hey what are you ladies whispering about?" franky said "don't worry about it franky" robin said with a wink  franky seemed to understand right away because he made an ohhh face before chuckling once everyone met up with luffy at the group of rocks dagger began walking around the rocks coming back with some wood "what's that for?" nami asked "remember how cold it gets here at night swan" sanji said "there's always room in my tent if your cold nami swan robin chwan dagger chan" sanji sang as the sun set and sanji cooked food for everyone they began chatting away dagger was relaxed next to ace looking up at the stars when she suddenly stood up and looked out towards the dessert she flew up to the op of the rocks and kneeled down "dagger? what's wrong?" nami asked dagger's ears perked up a bit "dagger?" nami asked again "shh" dagger said "did she just shoosh me?" nami asked "nami i'm serious be quiet for a second she said watching out her eyes widened slightly "i hate to alarm you  all but there is a giant sand worm headed this way" dagger said "from which way?" zoro asked standing up dagger picked up a hand full of sand after dropping back down she tossed it up into the air "north" she said pointing "i'll take care of it" he said "damn marimo you can't go by yourself you'll get lost" sanji said about to stand up "i'll look after him" dagger said "if we go to far ace you wanna be a beacon?" dagger giggled ace looked at her with a glare before smiling "alright i'll stand up on top of these rocks" he said "dagger chan your sure you don't want me to go instead i don't want you getting hurt" sanji said "sanji i'm a little hurt by those words" dagger joked "she'll be fine as long as she doesn't get lost" zoro said "your the one who gets lost idiot!" everyone shouted at him "whatever lets go" zoro said turning and beginning to walk ace went p to the top of the rocks and lit himself up like the star on top of a Christmas tree "thanks commander!" she shouted to him he shook his head "don't call me that i feel old" he said she laughed "zoro that's the wrong way" dagger said "no this is north!" he shouted she grabbed him and pointed "the sand worm is right there" she said "oh..." zoro said "well lets cut it up" zoro said "agreed" she said pulling her katanas out from her back the two made quick work of the worm "should we bring it back and scare the others with it?" she asked zoro nodded "oh definitely" he said "hold on a sec" she said pulling out a transponder snail it rang a couple times "hello?"  "hey commander were gonna bring the worm back and try to prank everyone ok so don't kill us" she said "alrighty and stop calling me commander it makes me feel old like pops" he said making her laugh "alright then see you soon" she said "aright mission scare everyone is a go" she said zoro chuckled and they began dragging it back once they were just around the corner they moved to the back and pushed it around the corner dagger made an inhuman worm noise screams were heard from the others dagger laughed with zoro and ace before dagger and zoro made an appearance "that was hilarious" dagger said laughing "meatttt!" luffy cheered as sanji handed him a plate "that wasn't funny" nami said robin giggled "i found it to be quite enjoyable" she said "you find a lot of things enjoyable robin" usopp said sanji passed out food to everyone after dagger gave sanji two cooking knives he quickly diced up the worm and prepared it for cooking sanji cooked and ate at the same time until everyone was stuffed full they set up tents to sleep in. dagger was leaning against on of the rocks one knee bent with her arm resting on it ace was sitting next to her on one side and zoro was on the other side of her watching the fire while drinking sake "want some?" he asked she shook her head "no thanks I've got my own" she said pulling a bottle from her bag "what is that stuff?" zoro asked as she cracked the top she took a large sip of it before handing it to him "try it, if you like spice you'll love this" she said zoro took the bottle before taking a swig of it he coughed after he swallowed it "holy shit that's got a real kick" he said handing the bottle back she took another couple sips before looking at ace and offering him the bottle whisky?" she asked ace shook his head "i'm not strong on whisky or getting drunk in the desert" he said bluntly she put the cap on the bottle and frowned tucking it into her jacket "i'm not getting drunk" she said "you've already drank half that bottle" he said her jaw dropped " wow so your going to judge my drinking once in a blue moon well excuse me that i don't just drink at party's" she said ace scoffed "i may have an iron body but i don't have iron feelings" she said disappearing and reappearing on top of the rocks ace got a few looks from everyone "are you two having a lovers spat?" luffy asked "luffy i already told you there's nothing between her and i" ace snapped disappearing in a flame luffy frowned "well he didn't have to be so mean about it" luffy said "i don't know should we just leave them?" nami asked "it's for the best not to get involved" robin said getting up and heading into one of the tents nami did the same but going into another tent.
