  Dear Mom,

I'm being called back!!! I can't believe I got a call back! Honestly though, I'm scared, what if I didn't make it and they're trying to make me feel better by making me Extra #437! Other than that audition, I've been auditioning everywhere, and I haven't gotten a single part! It's kinda frustrating to say the least. I even auditioned for an infomercial for some new pajama that seemed to look like snuggies but had a pillow inside. I was ecstatic when I hadn't gotten a call back on that one! I wish I could make it to Grandma's birthday party ( I can't believe she's turning 73!), but i have barely any money left to fly back and frankly I don't think I'll even be able to pay for gas to make the drive. I know what you're thinking, that if there's a will there's a way. Well...

     -Sorry,

                   Cassie

P.S I'm shipping Grandma's gift with this (It's a scarf)

P.P.S My roommate says hi again

P.P.P.S I liked the chili now if only you could ship over some of your cornbread

"You're so lucky! Like you have another shot at this!" My roommate, Haley gushes, having tried and failed at many more auditions than me.

"I mean...I guess it's great." I wasn't sure on how to read it. Did they think I had been good enough or did they feel like they could use me as an extra or give me a small role. I didn't know how i would react if I  had been this close to becoming the lead and then bam! I was extra #437.

"Cassie, you're being stupid, like seriously!" Haley lectures, "You're getting another chance! Instead of moping around and acting like you have no talent! Work Hard! And if you happen to become extra number whatever, you can still own it."

I snort, Haley was being such a hypocrite. Whenever she failed an audition she'd mope around the apartment eating whatever junk she could get her hands on, until she found another audition. "Haley, maybe you should listen to your own advice."

"What?! Whatever, I-I like don't even know what your'e trying to say!" She huffs.

"Never mind then, I've got to go." I glance at my phone, I had only two minutes left to spare.

"Dressed like that?" She looks at my outfit with distaste.

"Yes, dressed like this. Bye Haley." I ignore her glare and dash out of the house. I had gotten a call back and from what I knew she never had.
