Chapter 6: The Party Pt. 2

Jaylan's POV

Naomi told me she had to go find a lost child and then ran towards the upstairs hallway. I wondered what it was about but I let it go. Man, how many people were in here? It was extremely crowded.

I bumped into some and almost fell but he grabbed my waist and pulled me back up.

"Falling over heads in love with me huh?" The guys said.

"I'm sure you have the phrase wrong." I said laughing as I turned to him. He was as tall as most of the guys in my pack, maybe around 6'3 and he had black hair with green eyes.

"Well hello there." My wolf Cammie said
"Where have you been?!"
"Should you be asking that? Or asking this hunk for his name?"
"I'll deal with you later."
"Sure, as long as he deals with us now." Oh lord I thought.

"Thank you for catching me" I said looking at him.

"Your gorgeous" I said unintentionally. He laughed and I saw a dimple. How cute.

"No, your looks definitely shine bright here. And your personality is definitely the icing on the cake." I blushed and looked down.

"I'm Johnathan" he says looking down at me.

"Jaylan.." I said looking away.

"The birthday girl hmm? Happy birthday sweetheart." He took my hand and kissed it. I felt like I could melt at any time. I was about to reply when I heard a growl from behind me and my eyes met with Daniel's.

Can't I get a break from this guy?!

He grabbed my hand and pulled me away from Johnathan.

"What are you doing?"

"Come with me." Without another word he took me outside.

"What was that about? Were done remember??"

He looked at me and I saw that he was hurt but I didn't understand why.

"You rejected me so you have no right to look at me like that."

"What if I told you I regretted it? Not because you were with him but because when I saw you on the school floor I realized how much I fell for you."

I couldn't say anything but I looked into his eyes and something flickered.

'Mate' Cammie said.
'Again?!'
'Yea, I've never heard of this.'

I was going to say more but I stopped by Daniels intense glare.

This can not be happening. I turned away from him but of course he grabbed me and hugged me from the back putting his hands on my waist. All I felt was pleasure. Damn this mate thing, I couldn't move it was like I was frozen.

"Fate is on my side" he said whispering in my ear.

"L-let me go" I said trying to move away from his grip.

"Do you really want that?" He turned me around and kissed me pulling my body closely on his. Sparks.

"I guess you don't." He said pulling away.

'Damn you Cammie'
'Heh, if he's our mate I don't mind I mean look at him'

I looked up to him. He was 6'3 with brown hair and ocean blue eyes and his smile was to die for.

"Checking me out huh?"

"I-I" oh forget it. I looked down. That's when he took my hand.

"Let's dance"
