Chapter 12: After

Jaylan's POV

I kept bitting and slashing every wolf I saw, I think I may even bit the ones on our side. I was tired.

We were never even attacked like this before.
"ALL RED DAWN MEMBERS STOP." The beta said. Did we win? What's going on?

I looked at Daniel and he released the wolf he was about to kill, he looked just as confused as me. They all turned around and ran into their territory. Had we won? Was it finally over?

I looked around and saw Joshua who had a bad cut on his side, and Anastasia who had a gash on her ankle.

"Joshua, are you ok?" Henodded and I ran over to Anastasia.

"Are you ok?" I asked her.
"Yes, I'll be fine. How's Joshua?"
"He's fine." He'll actually heal I thought.
"Have you seen Naomi?" I looked around... where did she go?

'Women and child pack house.' My wolf said. I ran in that direction having Daniel following me. We got there and I couldn't believe my eyes.

The whole place was a wreck and everyone was gone. Naomi was gone. There was blood on the floor but I couldn't recognize whose it was. I walked around sniffing the area.

Not a trace of her scent and the red haired girl was gone too.

'She'll be fine. She's pretty strong.' Daniel mind-linked me.
'What if they killed her? I should of been there with her I should of-'
'If you were here with her what would be the circumstances that the people who are alive now would still be alive?'

I cut the mind link off. I didn't want to hear anymore from him. I wanted to know if Naomi was safe.

'Naomi where are you?' I tried to mind-link her but I got a pain from the side of my head and my eye lids closed.

Daniel's POV

I carried Jaylan back to the pack house and layed her on the couch.

"WHAT HAPPENED" Anastasia yelled running over to us.

"She tried to mind-link Naomi and fainted."

Anastasia grabbed her hand and looked at her closing her eyes.

"What are you doing?"

"Shut up, I need to focus."

"I-I see Naomi laying down somewhere." I wanted to ask where but Anastasia opened her eyes and held her head.

"Are you ok?"

"No, because Naomi's not."

I looked at her as she looked down. Both of them won't stop worrying about Naomi until she's found and that's what I intend to do.

"Daniel" I turned to see Jousha who was bleeding on the side.

"Call SH and tell them were going to need many doctors." I directed this to Anastasia and she nodded.

About 45 minutes Later.

28 people were dead. All men. Half of them were mated so I would have to tell their mates which I was already a step ahead with that.

Daniel was being attended to by a doctor and so was Jaylan. Anastasia on the other hand refused to see a doctor, she was worried sick about Naomi.

Before the doctors showed up the women and children showed up with fear in their eyes but not a single one was injured. Naomi did a great job keeping them safe.

I was now talking to the women and children to see if any knew anything about Naomi.

"S-she saved my son." The women said between sobs.

"What do you mean?"

"A white wolf was about to kill him when she tackled him..."

"A white wolf?" She nodded.

Shit. She faced the alpha I believe. If that was the case they might of killed her. But no, Anastasia saw her lying on a couch so does that mean she's in their territory?

But, why?
