~Skyler's POV~
The past week all I've done is ignore Dylan and Stacy and pack my room. Me and Shay have gotten to know each other better and surprisingly we get along pretty great. Almost every other day I've been letting Shay run through the woods behind my house, and lets just say that the second time I shifted didn't go to well...
*Flashback*
"Alright, alright. I'll let you run tonight." I say to Shay. She hasn't gotten to run in about 2 days and she is getting restless. She would keep me up 24/7 going on and on about how she isn't gonna be caged up like an animal, even though she is one, and when she would let me talk I would explain to her that I can't just drop everything and disapear for a few hours, she would be quiet for about 5 minutes then start on with her speech again. Those are the only times we would argue. So I finally got fed up with it and thats why I was standing in the clearing where I first shifted. I had no idea how to shift. When I told her I would let her run earlier today she was excited. I had to tell her several times to calm because 1. She was starting to give me a headache and 2. She would try and have conversations with me while I was having a conversation with some else and lets face it! I can't hold two conversations even if my life depended on it..
"Try and remember how it felt like to be a wolf."  Shay says excited.
I try to remember everything I could... The feeling of being on four legs instead of two...how the paws were white.. Enchanted sences...
Slowely and painfully I shifted into a wolf, tearing my favorite jeans in process....dang I shoulda undressed..
When I was finally done shifting Shay was already trying to take control, but I held her back because I wanted to see what it was like, I start off simply walking, then jogging then finally full out sprinting. Shay was extactic that we were finally running. She wanted to take full control so she could run as fast as lightening, jumping from rock to land and back. But I wasn't gonna let her yet.
It was amazing, you'd figure that everything would be flying by but no. I could see everything perfectly. I smelled water and went toward it. I saw a small pond near the middle and went to take a sip.I was surprised to see a beautiful white wolf staring at me. I blinked, she blinked, I turned my head, she turned her head. It took me a minute to figure out she was me.
My wolf was beautiful, she had piercing blue eyes and was tall. Shay was dying to get out by now so I finally let her take control.

A few hours later I wake up about to tell Shay we should head back. Before I could say anything I hear a strange noise coming for Shays ears, I feel Shay turn to the right, growl, and then take off back to the house.
"What is Shay? What's going on?" I ask Shay because she feels like she's about to freaking out.
"Nothing. I have it handled." Shay said trying to act calm. I knew she was hiding something from me.
"What is it Shay? What aren't you telling me?"
"Nothing." She replies. Fine. She wants to do this the hard way. I quickly and quietly took over. I was now running toward the house and Shay was pretty pissed to say the least.
"Skyler! This is not the time for this! Let me back in control!" Shays says furiously.
"Then tell me what your hiding or I'll go back!" I start to slow down to show how serious I was.
"Skyler! You better not!"
I slow down to a walk and start to turn. Now you obviously think I'm suicidal, but here's the thing, I don't want to go back but Shay can't keep stuff from me, ever. I've learned that you need to put your wolf in his/her place and if this is the only way to do it then, oh well so be it.
"Fine! I'll tell you but please turn around and head back to the house! We have to get out of these woods as soon as possible!" Shay begs. That's better. And then I do just that, I run as fast as my legs could take me and headed home.
