Chapter 7: First Day

My alarm clock wakes me up at 6 o'clock the next morning. I quickly feel around for that God awful button. Still looking, still the thing is beeping. I'm really starting to regret getting the stupid thing. I quickly grow agitated and throw the damn thing on the floor. Damn gonna need a new one. Well at least the beeping stopped.

I roll outta bed and went to take a shower. I quickly wash my hair and shave and get out wrapping a fluffy towel around me and went into my room. I rummage through my still packed boxes and quickly decide on a pair of white skinny jeans and a blue blouse with a bow in the middle of it and a pair of brown sandals and white earnings. I pull out a pair of lacy black bra and panties and put everything on.

I walk into the bathroom again and plug in my curling iron and blow dryer. I quickly brush my hair and start blow drying it. Once my hair is all dry I start doing lose curls and once it has my approval I start on my make up. Which was pretty simple, with a couple swipes of mascara. I brush my teeth and head down stairs , remembering that we haven't gotten food yet I quickly grab my bag, phone, and car keys and head to the garage. In the garage is a dark blue 2008 mustang. I get inside and head to my first day at Lake Side High.

After eating breakfast at a small dinner I look for the school. I still had an hour and a half but I wanted to get a layout of the school so I wouldn't have my head in a map all day. Finding the school was pretty easy, but finding a place to park wasn't, it took me forever to find a parking spot, I get out and head to the building. The building was pretty big, with windows all over it. The building was dark red and about 3 story's high.

As I got into the building a short, blonde girl walked up to me. She had short blonde hair and blue eyes. She was about 5'4". She had a cute button nose and small lips. Her eyes had a top layer of eyeliner and mascara on for make up. She was wearing a gray sweater and pink and gray leggings with pink snow boots and had gray earnings in. Obviously a kinda lazy look. She was really pretty.

"Hi! My names Rose. You look lost, do you need some help?" Rose asked. Just after she got done asking a pretty girl with red hair with bright blue eyes walked up.

"Hey Rose. Whose this?" The red head asked.

"Hey Izzy. I don't know, she hasn't told me her name yet." Rose replied.

Feeling the need to introduce myself I said, "Skyler. My name is Skyler."

Shay, who has been trying to get my attention since yesterday, got all excited.
"What's going on." I asked furiously. I was still mad at her for what happened yesterday.

"Something great is about to happen." Shay says excited.

"What's going to happen?" I was tired of her tiptoeing around my questions.

"You'll find out." Was all she said.

"Skyler? You okay?" I quickly pull out of my thoughts and look up and see Rose snapping her fingers in my face.

I snap at her fingers, gosh I hate that.

"Get yours fingers out of my face. I hate that."

Rose laughs," Oh I like you already."
