Chapter I
Your P.O.V:
The palace glowed with the numerous chandeliers, dangling elegantly from the high arched ceiling. Outside the full moon shined bright in the clear starry sky. The emperor of the Hua Empire was getting married on this beautiful night. I stood near a pillar silently observing this joyous day. It was the after party of the wedding and I was attending as a royal guest. I'm royal knight to the queen of the Kadar Kingdom, Mika. My name is (Y/N).
I don't really enjoy parties and stuff but I was invited to come here by my best friend Hijirikawa Masato. I've known him since I was 6. He's gentle and beautiful for a guy. I can't help but adore and dote on him. And that little mole under his right eye is so cute!
Unfortunately since Masato is also the right hand man for the prince, he wasn't able to keep me company. I walked out into the garden with a glass of wine in my hand. The garden was bathed in the light of the full moon allowing me to see the flowers glow with its light. It was so celestial with the stars and constellation twinkling in the sky. I heard some distant voices so I headed over to where they were coming from. Which soon became the first biggest mistake I've ever made in my entire life.
Those voices I heard were the prince of all flirts, his royal flirtiness, Jinguji Ren, and his immense mob of fangirls.
Ren P.O.V:
I had escaped the ball room where the after party of my brother's wedding was being held to play on my saxophone. For my beautiful little lambs of course. Nii-san would've killed me if he saw all those girls around me on his wedding day. As I stood near the lake playing the saxophone, I heard the excited shrieks of many girls. A delighted grin played on my lips. Immediately I was surrounded by what seemed like 100 girls. The satisfaction of this event was amazing.
I calmly continued playing but what caught my attention was a burst of (h/c) among the red roses. The only other person with (h/c) hair who I knew of besides (r/n) was the female knight of the Kadar Kingdom. Rumors say that she's as beautiful as any angel, veela, or even goddess and has the ability of over 200 men. Plus she was only one year younger than me. I quickly stopped playing and tried to get a better look but I feel like she noticed because I saw her standing up to leave. I wanted to see her face but those damn girls around me blocked her out of my view. I sighed. This might've been the only chance I would see this goddess and that chance was gone.

His music captivated me. I intended on going back inside until I heard the saxophone. It was mesmerizing, the way he played. Even with all those girls around him I was still able to see him. I hate to say it but he was sexy. I never thought even I would fall for the prince's looks.
As I was watching him play I didn't notice he had stopped until I heard a girl ask him, "Jinguji-san are you ok?"
He was looking right at where I was hiding, behind a rose bush. I quickly got up and turned back from where I came from. My heart was beating fast as I went back. His eyes were a pure and innocent blue as clear as the lake. Not that I'd describe that flirt as innocent though.
I didn't realize I had started to run on the way back until one guard asked, "Lady (Y/N), why are you running? Did something happen?"
I was ready to tell that guy "Hell yes something happened. I've fallen for your damn flirt of a prince!" but I kept quiet and went inside the ballroom. Masato was waiting for me by the pillar I was leaning against about an hour ago.
"(Y/N) where have you been this past hour? I've been looking for you," Masato asked.
"Huh? Oh sorry Masa-chan I was out in the garden to get some air. I was getting uncomfortable just standing there like some loner," I quickly replied.
"Oh ok. I was just getting worried cause I thought you might've gotten lost," he replied, raising his eyebrow. I feel like he noticed I wasn't telling him everything.
"Hahaha!! Oh Masa-chan you're cute when you worry about me. I don't get lost that easily," I answered amidst giggles and poking his cheek. He blushed from my answer, totally forgetting his concern for me.
"Aw~ You really are a cutie!" I cooed.
I spent the rest of the party out on the dance floor with Masato. Eventually I had to leave with my queen. I never told Masato about the whole garden stuff cause it's kinda embarrassing. As we got into the limo heading toward the airport, Mika must've noticed I was acting a bit strange.
"Um. (Y/N) are you feeling okay? You are rather quiet than usual," Mika asked.
"Wow Mika. Just because I'm quiet you think something is wrong," I said jokingly with a smile.
"Well you usually are pretty lively after parties with all your complaining about the guys who would ask you to dance and those annoying girls who would keep staring at you," Mika replied with a giggle.
"Am I really like that?" I asked.
"Yup," she said without any hesitation.
We both burst out laughing. She eventually stopped questioning me and the flight back to the palace was full of gossip from the party but my mind was full of him, Jinguji Ren.
(r/n)- this means random name. idk if i'll use it often but here i did
