Felicity, Adeline, and my mother screamed with excitement. I, on the other had was trying to contain myself. Felicity was kicking and throwing all kinds of pain and excitement my way. She couldn't control her happiness. "Oww! Felicity! That hurts baby girl. Can you at least try  to control your happiness?" I asked my precious baby. She said "fine" and calmed down.

Though my insane mother and best friend were jumping for joy, I really wanted my precious son. I prayed that later in my life I would have the son I dreamed of. We headed to the store to shop for my baby girl.

We started with what color we were going to paint the walls. Adeline suggested a cute wallpaper with pink ribbons and bows and light pink and white stripes on top and bottom. We talked it over and since Felicity will age and change her opinion of her favorite color or pattern, we decided to go with some peel-able wallpaper. I loved it but fell for the one next to it that had some really cute pink rocking horses and that was the end.

Felicity and my mom were eager to start clothes shopping. We started at Ross. Felicity really wanted a cute pink dress that had rhinestones. Adeline did most of the shopping picking out clothes for as soon as she's born, until she turns one.

Next was buybuybaby. We got pink and purple baby bottles and sheets and blankets. We bought learning bears and a block table. We kept everything pink and rocking horse themed. Felicity loved it. we got hang-able pink letters with flowers that spelled her name. Her favorite toy we bought was a table for drawing and coloring. We had tons of books at home that I kept from when I was little.

Finally we went and got her sheets and a crib and a pillow (because she wanted one). She wanted a stuffed animal but I said no to that. She did beg me for a baby shower so she can get more stuff. She was a spoiled brat but she was killing us with logic and said "If we have a baby shower, you can save a little money and get more clothes and bottles and blankets and stuff.." And she won me over.
