When the doctor returned with results I quit puking. He asked for what else had been happening to me. "Well I'm not throwing up anymore, but I do feel a little dizzy. Could you please tell me what is going on?" My mother was holding my hand and the doctor squinted in confusion.
"Two questions. Do you have a boyfriend? When is your period supposed to start?" He asked. My cheeks turned red.
"No sir I'm single and my period isn't until next week...why?" I responded. I knew these questions/side effects were for pregnancy but I'm still a virgin.
"Please give me a call when your period starts. If this is what I think it is you could possibly die. I'm so sorry Autumn, but we'll just have to see" He sounded worried and my mother rubbed my hand. "It's going to be alright honey" she said, " I'll protect you"
Three days passed and my period came two days early. I would puke every once in a while and had lots of pain in my back and legs. I called the doctor. "Hello this is Dr. Hensworth's office how may I assist you?" Came a woman's voice.
"Hi I'm calling to speak to the doctor himself. My name is Autumn Greene"
"Ah yes, Autumn. He'll be on in just a moment please hold" A minute passed
"Hello this is Dr.Hensworth"
"Doctor...my period is two days
early"
"I see. I'll have to tell you in person. I'll be over in ten." And that was the end of that.
