I blacked out. I remember being so cold. I wanted my baby in my arms again. I opened my eyes. I saw a bright light in my eyes. I heard singing and humming. Adeline was in a chair across the room rocking and singing to Felicity. "A-Adeline?" She stopped and looked up at me. "Yeah?" She responded.
"Do you have Felicity?"
"Yeah. Do you want to see her not covered in blood?" I laughed and nodded. She stood up and brought her to my outstretched arms. Felicity smiled her toothless smile. She was still in the pink silk blanket she got from her baby shower. She was asleep. I kissed her forehead. "Where's mom?" I asked Adeline.
"Food. She'll be so happy to see that you lived. She didn't have much Faith"
"And you did?"
"Yeah" She smiled her perfectly white smile. My mom walked in and smiled at me with food in her hands. Adeline took the baby and helped me stand so my mom could hug me. "Oh Autumn! You're here! All of you!"
"I know" I smiled. We eventually checked out of the hospital and headed home. Felicity was awake and laughed the whole way home. She loved her car seat and was super comfortable. We took her home and we played and that's the end of that story. Felicity loves her home and family.
