Lola's apartment is pretty decent. It was pretty big too. The apartment had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room and the kitchen. The apartment was fully furnished and it was on the fifth floor of a five story building. I myself am scared of height but Lola is just the opposite. It was her idea to be on the fifth floor. I was a thousand percent against it. At the end, I changed my mind.
To be honest, I am very impressed with the living room. It is huge and vast. The rest of the apartment was also vast. Lola loved bright colors so because of that, the whole apartment was filled with bright colors such as light blues, bright pinks and neons. The whole apartment was literally bright. The coolest part is that it offers a north side exposure and provides a view of almost the whole street, or should I say town? The location of the apartment is pretty clean and calm.
The reason Lola and I decided to rent an apartment is because of my participation on the X-Factor which I am so happy about. I personally will stay at a building owned by X-Factor. And this isn't only me. All of the contestants of the competition will stay there until their elimination. Each contestant will make a video diary to talk about their song choice, performance and just about everything else. The video will then be uploaded to their Youtube Channel and the fans will be able to watch it. And these videos are made every week until you get eliminated.
The only thought in my mind was what If I get eliminated. What if I don't get through the first week? Only two words stuck in my head and those were: "What If." But I won't let those words bring me down. I am very competitive and tend to be good at what I do. I will practice very hard. I am willing to work hard to win this competition.
I was about to go into the kitchen to get something to eat when Lola's phone rang. I called her for her phone but then remembered that she was taking a shower. The phone rang again. I was a bit hesitant before taking her phone. But I eventually took.
"Hello?" I said
"Hi babe." Said the unknown caller. I sure was a bit offended by that phrase. I didn't even know this guy.
"Hello?" I said a bit irritated with what he said few second ago
"Hello? Is Lola there?" Now this voice is sounding a bit familiar I thought
"Justin? Is that you?" I asked remembering that voice. It sounded so familiar but it was just so hard to recall
"Sophie?"
"Justin? Is it you?" I asked with a confused tone as the thought of Justin' s voice.
It certainly sounds like it has changed. A year ago, Justin had this boyish and simple voice. But now his voice is just different. Different in a good way
"Yes, it's me! Sophie! How are you?"
"I'm fine. And you?"
"I'm doing pretty well"
"So..." I was cut as I heard Lola's voice from one of the rooms.
"DoyouknowwhereIputmyphonbecauseIcantfindit?" She asked. To me it was like hearing a baby speak. Like baby talk.
"What?!" I yelled a bit low hoping that Justin wouldn't hear me. But I knew it was no use because I had the phone on my ear
"I said do you know where I put my phone because I can't find it?" she asked as she arrived in the living room
"Who are you talking to?" she asked with a bit of surprise showing.
I bet this was because of me using her phone. It was on last year's Valentine's Day, we told each other that we would do something for each other. Lola told me to go on a blind date with a boy in our school. And of course, I refused. So she told me that I will not touch her phone until I go on to the date or if I touched her phone, I would pay her fifty bucks. And I don't know why I accepted her dare but I did. And now, I know that I have fifty dollars to pay.
