Alpha squad with their mini con partners, Omega Supreme, and the Autobot soldiers of the base were all on high alert for the Decepticon Attack.
Warpath: Where are the Decepticons I want to blast them.
Austin: Patience Warpath they should be arriving soon.
Autobot Soldier: I've got contact several contacts coming up to the base.
Austin looked out on the horizon through his scope on his arm cannon and saw the Constructicons leading a group of Decepticon soldiers coming towards the base.
Austin: Ready all weapons.
The soldiers and Alpha Squad got their weapons ready and a fire fight was going to start or that was supposed to happen if the Decepticons didn't transform back into their robot modes outside of gun firing range.

Scrapper as he spoke into a Cybertonian megaphone: Autobots we the Constructicons are here to challenge Alpha squad to a one-on-one fight in our combined form, if Alpha squad wins, we will withdraw our forces from here but if we win you must surrender the base to us.
Austin was silent for a moment before he grabbed a megaphone and spoke into it: How will we know that you will keep your word and withdraw from the base Scrapper.
Scrapper: We give our word to you clan of nine member so long as you defeat us in combat.
Austin looked at each of the members of Alpha Squad for their opinion, each member of the squad nodded their head in agreement.
Austin: Very well Scrapper Alpha squad accepts your challenge to one-on-one combat.
Alpha squad and the Constructions then went to the center of the battlefield and combined into their combined forms with Skyklik becoming the new left arm for Alpha.

Devastator charged towards Alpha but Red Alert and Cliffjumper moved in unison out of the way of the Deception combiner then Warpath brought the combined Blaster and Cliffjumper up and fired some shots at Devastator then fired his cannon at said Decepticon, each shot made contact with Devastator.
