Hehe me first Beatles fanfiction, I'm quite excited really :)
Actually this book started out to be a non-Beatle related book, but I decided it to be, so here we go

I've been living in Grass Valley, California for as long as I can remember. Well to be exact, 15 years.

I live with my typical family, half from England, half from Italy, though, I take up more English than Italian tongue.
Anyway, I am an only child and I've only have had a few friends that I've been with the majority of my life. But this week has been the absolute worst week of my life.

I came home Wednesday from school to find my Mom and Dad talking and looking very excited. We aren't a very rich family; you could say we are rather poor.
"Mayla! You're home!" my mother said warmly.
"What's going on?"
"Well, you're father has some very great news to tell you!"
Well I was excited and nervous at the same time, I had no idea what they were gonna tell me, nor did I know that it was gonna be life changing.

"Mayla," he started to say. "ye may or may not be excited about this, but, I got a well-paying job-"
He paused so I thought he was finished.
"Oh Dad! That's great! Why wouldn't I be happy? I'm very happy and proud of you!"

"Well thank ye darlin', but I wasn't finished. I was trying to say; I got a new job, in Liverpool, England."

"ENGLAND??!!!" I screeched.

"Yes, I know, it's far away from your friends, but you'll meet a lot of new friends at your new school! And we are moving to a neighborhood with a lot of kids! So ye won't be alone!" My mother explained to me.

"BUT MOM!!! ENGLAND??!!! WHY SO FAR??!! IZZY AND BRIT WILL MISS ME!!!!"

"I know sweetie, but they can visit, and so can ye," my dad said quietly.

"UGH!"

I just ran upstairs, jumped on my bed and cried.
I should probably go call my friends and see them before I go. Damn! I forgot to ask when we are leaving... Oh well, maybe later.

I just stayed in my room for hours, until my Dad came up and told me dinner was ready.

"Mom, when are we leaving?" I asked.

"Saturday, dear."

Gear! At least I have a few days to say bye to everyone.

When I was done with dinner, I washed up and got ready for bed, trying to go to sleep, but had no luck.
My head kept spinning. Repeating the thoughts of; Liverpool, goodbye friends, good bye home, I'm gonna be new.
I finally got to sleep around 12ish, having nightmares of embarrassing myself, getting bullied, and not making any friends, having being that I'm the "weird" kid in the school.

The next day I had to pack, and go to school, and talk to my friends for the last few times this week, better make it count. I just hope liverpool will be ok...
