I felt my body being shaked. I groan and sit up and rub my eyes. I took my earphones out my ear. I opened my eyes and stretched, looked around to see I was in a SUV .
"Welcome!" A deep, husky, voice said.
I jumped and turned around so fast I got a whiplash.
"Ouch! What the fuck?"
" Oh Shit . Sorry" the voice said
I turned to the voice to see a tall, man that look to be in his mid-thirties or early forties. He was standing in the open car door.
"It's fine, but who are you?"
"Oh yea, right well my name is Alpha Maxwell Payne. I already know who you are." He said
"Right-t-t" I dragged out" where my dad?"
"Oh he is doing some paperwork for the new house and you guys joining the pack, I am going to be showing you around.-"
I cut him off when I realize something didn't make sense
"Wait why is he doing paperwork and not you. If werewolves are like the ones I've read in books aren't you suppose to be with him filling them out? And why the fuck do you need to do paperwork to do join the pack?"
I had so many questions about werewolves but I need to get some sleep first. I looked at the time on my IPhone and it said 7:45pm. That explains why I am so tired. I am used to going to sleep at 9:00pm.
"Are you even listen to me?" Alpha Maxwell said getting annoyed
"Oh Shit sorry, what were you saying?"
"I was saying that I have my second-command/beta with him doing the paper work. I needed a break anyway. And the paperwork for joining the pack is to just make sure he doesn't betray us and not know the consequences." Alpha Maxwell said smirking
"What's with men and smirking?" I mutter
"Back to what I was saying before. I will be showing you around along with my wife and Luna. Is that okay or do you want to hang with people your age?" Maxwell asked
"No it's cool. I don't like to meet new people around my age."
"Why is that child?"A feminine voice said with sadness
I get out the car to see who was that. Alpha Maxwell close the car door and walks with me towards the voice. As we round the car I see a women who has light blues eyes and slight pale skin. She looks to be around the same age as Alpha Maxwell with her red hair. She looks to taller than me but shorter than Alpha Maxwell. She had a hint of sadness in her voice.
"From where I grew up kids my age tend to bully me because of my skin color or the way I dress. I wear heals to every occasion. I dress up when I am suppose to dress down. I am different from everyone else. Look at what I am wearing now" I said with a shrug
"Look child, one day you are gonna need a friend. It is bound to happen." She said
"Wait who are you?"
"Oh sorry I am Luna Rachel Payne. I am sure you have already met my husband. Alpha Maxwell Payne." Luna Rachel said smiling
"Oh"
The awkwardness was thick and I some how felt safe with them and I don't like it. I don't even know them and I don't even care. I have to protect myself.
"Let's get on with this tour shall we." Alpha Maxwell said
"Wait, we are leaving my things"
"Oh no, they are already in your room at your new home" he said
"Oh okay, where to first?"
If I want to get out of here I have to know this place inside and out.
"The pack house, silly" Luna said with excitement in her eyes
"Great, lets go" Alpha Maxwell said smirking _______________________________________
