***************************************

The room was dim, filled with the soft glow of the bedside lamp that neither of them bothered to switch off.Taehyung shifted in her sleep first - her long hair falling over her face as she moved, searching blindly for warmth.

Her hands brushed against Jungkook's chest, and instantly, without thinking, she snuggled into him like a kitten finding its spot.Jungkook tightened his arms around her waist in his sleep, chin resting lightly on top of her head.

"Mm... where are you going, princess?" Jungkook murmured, voice husky and half-asleep.Taehyung smiled against his chest, her fingers curling into the fabric of his t-shirt.

"I didn't go anywhere..." she whispered softly, "I just... missed your warmth."

Jungkook finally opened his eyes, blinking slowly before looking down at her-her cheeks slightly flushed, lips pouting unconsciously, hair messy but beautiful. He gently tucked a strand behind her ear, his thumb brushing her soft cheek.

"You look exhausted, Tae..."

"Hmm... but happily exhausted," she replied, tilting her face up to meet his gaze, "and you?"

Jungkook smiled, the kind of smile only reserved for her.

"I wouldn't change a single thing about today... especially because I got to see you happy."

Taehyung's heart fluttered, and she shyly hid her face against his chest.
Jungkook chuckled, wrapping his arms more securely around her.

"Yaah- don't laugh..." she mumbled, voice soft and cute.

"I'm not laughing," he lied while brushing his nose against her hair, "I'm just... in love, that's all."

Taehyung looked up at him again, her eyes shining.
"Hold me properly, Jungkook."

Jungkook shifted, sliding one leg between hers as he pulled her firmly against him, his hand resting protectively on her waist.Taehyung placed her delicate hand on the back of his neck, fingers playing with his hair absentmindedly.
Their breaths mingled-warm, slow, comfortable.

"Jungkook..." she whispered.
"Hmm, baby?"

She looked directly into his eyes, her voice trembling ever so slightly.

"Why do you love me so much?"

Jungkook didn't answer right away.
He traced small circles on her waist with his thumb, his voice low and sincere.

"Because you make me feel like I'm enough."
"Because your smile makes everything easier."
"And because when you look at me... I feel like I have a purpose."

Taehyung's eyes filled with emotion, her fingers tightening around his shirt.

"Don't ever leave me, Jungkook..."
He cupped her cheek, leaning his forehead against hers.
"I won't."
"You're my home, Taehyung... and I don't walk away from home."

Her lips quivered with emotion before she smiled softly.
"And you're my safe place."

Jungkook brushed his thumb across her lower lip before kissing her - soft, slow, full of affection. The kind of kiss that didn't rush - a promise more than anything.Their lips parted but their faces stayed close.

"Goodnight, hubby..." she whispered, shy but sincere.
"Goodnight, my beautiful wife," Jungkook replied, kissing her forehead.

He pulled the blanket higher, wrapping her in both warmth and his arms.
Taehyung rested her head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat until her eyes fluttered shut.In that quiet room, with arms tangled and hearts steady, they fell asleep again- safe, loved, and together..
