The Forest

Countless Stones

I checked my watch it was 3:25 early morning and it's still very dark.
"Wierd Forest." I said to myself while continuing. After minutes of walking I encountered a split path I went to the left to check if there are stones but it continued so I went back and turned right, I saw another house with a campfire in front of it, As I approach the house some of the stones were glowing in the sling bag so I entered it and saw a note.

On my way as I checked every house I luckily found 2 stones whoever is reading this I hid one in this table's closet and one in the small pond in front of this house.

I immediately opened the closet and quickly grabbed the stone it was somehow different from the others, it was longer and it's top was flat but still with the cross and the spikes below it. I stepped out of the house still grabbing the stone and walked to the pond, it was foggy there I can't even see a thing I grabbed my flashlight and pointed it to the foggy pond, I changed the distance limit of the flashlight but nothing changed.

"Where the hell is that stone? It should be detected by this." I said.

And suddenly the stone glowed it was a different kind of light, its strong red light and on the other side of the pond another strong light shone, but higher from the ground. Even though I'm scared I have nothing to do. So I swam to that dirty water I raised the stone to detect where that stone is exactly, now it is above me. I raised my hand and felt something rough in front of me somekind of stone. Few seconds later the fog was somehow fading so I had a clear look and in front of me there is some kind of a hill where waterfalls come from. I looked around searching for some alternative way to go up, luckily it is connected to a stone ramp just beside it I walked fast and quickly got out of the water, and climbed that ramp, stuffed the stone to the bag I've been grabbing ever since. I reached the top and saw the stone. It's just like the long one I've been holding recently, I grabbed it and stuffed it into the bag. Now I have 3 stones and I need 3 more stones. I had no time to waste I have to continue, I turned my back and I was frightened when I saw the girl.

"Hi." she said.

When she said that It frightened me so much that it almost made me cry. She was on the way I can't go to that ramp. So I had no choice. I jumped off while putting the 3rd stone in the bag then quickly closed it.

SPLASH!

A strong force bumped into me as I met the water. I quickly shook my head to dry it and breathed deeply, I looked behind to see if the girl is still there but there was nothing I swam as fast as I can. As I set foot to land I ran and left the house went back to the split path and ran to the other path. That moment it felt like nothing to me. Facing that ghost was like already nothing. Well I guess this will really end now.
