Sarah's P.O.V.
It had been a week since Nick kissed me. He was my first kiss. It was amazing. People always talk about how amazing their first kiss was and now I finally can, and let me tell you, it was amazing. His lips were so soft and warm.
He kept telling me over and over how "pretty I was" he told me that he would say it until I truly believed, and he would remind me everyday after that too. He was so sweet.
He was coming over to my house for dinner tonight, no, we weren't dating. Not yet, at least. I really hoped he would ask me out soon. He told my friend, Megan, that he liked me. I really hoped he wasn't lying.
Nick was coming over for dinner in 2 hours. I plugged my phone up and played Marina and The Diamonds and got in the shower to continue my thoughts.
I wonder what our first date would be like, if we ever go out. It would be so cute to go to an aquarium. I really like fish, and sharks. At the aquarium here in Georgia they have a moving floor, it goes under the shark tank and when you look up, you can see all the sharks and some other really cool fish. I think it'd be so cute to just stand there and hold hands with Nick and look at all of the fish.
It sounds cheesey, I know, but I've always wanted to do it. Just go to an aquarium for the day and run around like little kids, fascinated by all the different creatures. Lame, I know.
I wonder if he ever thinks about this kind of stuff? I mean, there's a lot of people who are like "Oh, guys never think about girls like that." But, I do. I think some guys out there, hopefully Nick, do think that way.
I finished my shower and decided on what I was going to wear. It was really hot out so I grabbed a pair of white denim shorts and a flowery top from Hollister and slipped them on. I dried my hair and straightened it and then pulled it back into a high pony tail.
I grabbed my makeup bag and applied very minimal makeup. I put on some mascara and lipgloss, then I grabbed my favorite necklace and put it on.
Ready!
I decided to ditch my phone for the night, I wanted to pay attention to Nick and have no destractions from the outside world. I walked downstairs and into the kitchen. I grabbed a seat in one of the stools around the island in our big kitchen.
"Excited?" My mom asked while slicing up lettuce for the salads. "More like, nervous." I picked at the nail polish on my nails, it's a bad habit, I do it when I'm nervous. "You really like him, don't you." She smiled at me and went back to preparing the salads. I spent all day cleaning the house, so it looked presentable.
"Yes, I do, please don't embarass me with stories about stupid things I've done in the past." I asked as nicely as possible. "Me? Embarrasing? Never." She joked. "Yeah, yeah."
'Knock knock'
Nick was here! Yay!
