New Beginnings

Chapter 5

Somebody's POV:
As I was closing my locker I saw Peter with a small dark haired girl looking like they were fighting. I knew Peter wasn't someone to recon with but so was I and I felt the need to help her so I walked over to where they were standing.
"Peter are you bothering this young lady," I said clearly startling her.
"Theo I don't think you want to be standing near her." The girl immediately tensed up.
"Bye Peter!" She said immediately running away. I felt the need to protect her, give her someone that cares. I followed her outside and once again startled her. 
"What are you doing here!" She said.
"Well if you haven't noticed I go to school here."
"I'm sorry it's just me and Peter don't have the best past in the universe and now he's trying to use the past against me."
"You want to talk about it." I say not really knowing how to talk to girls.
"Definitely not! Not because I don't trust you or anything, but the last friend I trusted is now using it against me and he was my best friend."
"I would never do that to you." I said sitting down next to her.
Aria's POV:
As he sat beside me I felt as though I could trust him that he wasn't like Peter. That's when I felt it, my secret slipping away I was about to tell him and there was no way of stopping it from happening.
"Okay, I say, please don't freak out. My dad used to beat me and it kept getting worse and worse and finally one day I snapped, he touched me and I realized that I was done, I couldn't take anymore and without thinking I ended up killing him." I said finally taking a breath.
Wow sorry it took me so long to update, I have been in a writing slump/ bust schedule so it was hard to finish it but hopefully it doesn't take that long next time but no promises. If you have any ideas for the book please comment or contact me and tell me what you think should happen next.
