Ashley's POV:
The sun shined through the hospital window that morning and I realized the worst part of my day was about to come, I had to tell Ari. After I changed Theo and Ari walked into the room hand in hand.
"Hey Ash!" Ari said ( Ash is Ashley's nickname)
"Morning! Ari I have something to tell you and Theo." I replied.
"Is everything okay?"
"Well..."
"Ash what happened?!"
"It's your step mom, she has cancer."
She didn't move it almost looked like she didn't breathe, and then all of the sudden like a rocket her hands let go of Theo and she took off sprinting down the hallway towards the waiting room where her dad was waiting patiently for news of his wife's surgery.
