Girl of Mine
There she is over there, will I go talk to her,do I have the courage, do I have the guts, will she turn me away, my breathstops when she looks my way, hair as black as night, as short as a winters day,lips as red as an apple, eyes greener than a rainforest, captivate my worldwith a glance, I've never seen anyone as beautiful, she is beyond special, shesmiles at me from across the room, my heart stops in my chest, why is shegetting up, why is she coming over, is this a dream or nightmare, she says myname, I smile at her, I feel the courage in my chest, I swallow my fear and trymy best, I ask her to join me on a date, she blushes and my breath stops, she'dlove to she says, I'll count the days, giggling as she leaves, in my glee, Iwrite this about her, I think I love her, her kindness and compassion, hersmiles and giggles, her voice when she sings, everything draws me in, she knowswho she is, this love of mine, the one who captivates my mind.
