Waiting
Here I am waiting for you, but waiting for you, is a lifetime endeavor, I mean this with upmost fervor, my mind says forget you, my heart says one more day, conflicting emotions, as primal as the oceans, will you ever come back, should I wait any longer, sitting in the rain, ignorant of the pain, I think I'll wait, just a little longer, I will wait forever, for you my lover, I won't move from this post, where you told me to wait, as the rain pelts down, I ignore the others frown, I have faith you'll return, I have hope in you, I know it's a lost cause, as I feel deaths icy claws, I will see you again my love, in the next life my love, I close my eyes, and the sky still cries.
