Loves gentle agony
You say you love me, though you hide me, you say I'm wonderful, yet act like I'm shameful, I guess this is loves gentle agony, what is it about you, that keeps me coming back, though your respect is slack, once upon a time I flew, now there's nothing but you, pulling me to the ground, tether tied round, my hearts suffocation, giving you pleasure filled justification, my pain behind a mask, while you set about your task, staring at my reflection, covering bruises section by section, tears slip down, dripping to the ground, your face behind me in the mirror, happy at my fear, I don't think this is loves gentle agony, if you loved me, would you hurt me, would you be able to do this, to your little miss, daddy how could you, mummy why would you, all I want is love, love as soft as a dove, but I have this, razor-blade of a kiss, loves gentle agony, what is this I see, people in blue, lights flashing for you, I'm lifted, and now gifted, no more pain, no more of the same, strange people, strange places, no more of loves gentle agony, for me.
