Stephanie's POV

Once we got to their house Mrs. Gilinsky told Jack to get my bag.
I jumped out of the car and was memorized by the big and beautiful house.
"Hah you like?" Jack said passing me.
"Y-yeah" I said a little over a whisper.
We walked in and I was greeted by Jacks father.
"Hello there." He said as he kneeled down to my height.
"I'm your new dad." He said and smiled cheek to cheek.
With out hesitation I pulled him into a hug and squeezed tight. After I pulled back I said "Sorry sir I'm just really excited!"
"It's fine!" He said and got up.
"Want a tour?" Jack said.
"Of course!"

"Steph! Jack! Dinner!" Mrs. Gilinsky called.
"Coming mom!" Jack called.
"Race ya!" I said as I started running to the stairs.
"Hey!" He yelled as he caught up.
We got to the dinner table and I couldn't believe my eyes.
It was boneless chicken, green beans with Mashed potatoes.
"Woah!" I said as I sat down.
"What is this not what you ate at the orphanage?" Jack said sitting down.
"Nope! All we at was slop! Literally!" I said.
Mr. G and jack chuckled at my comment. While Mrs. G giggled.
"Thank you Mr and Mrs G for adopting me!" I said swallowing my delicious food.
"Awe sweetie please you can call us mom and dad. And thank Jack. It was his idea." She said pointing her fork towards Jack who had a mashed potato smile.
"Eww" I laughed at him.

Jack showed my my room after dinner. It was beautiful. My favorite color turquoise painted all over the walls. A beautiful black with blue flowers on it comforter with matching pillows. Hardwood floor covered the room. A huge 45" flat screen on the opposite side of my room. A black and white dresser and night stand. And to top it off and beautiful small chandelier on the the ceiling.
I got on my pajamas and got into bed.
My new parents came in and said "goodnight sweetheart! See you in the morning. And tomorrow we're going shopping!" And shut off my light and closed my door. I snuggled up to my bunny and for once smiled as I slept.
