Hayes POV

Shawn told me and Johnson what really happened and why Madison did that. I was speechless.

"What the fuck" Johnson cussed.

"We have to tell Jack!" I said standing up.

"No! No. We can't. She told me not to." Shawn said as his voice got lower.

"Wha, well why not!" Johnson said getting angry.

"She doesn't want to ruin their relationship." Shawn said a little above a whisper.

We were speechless.

"It's funny how much she loves her brother." Johnson said looking down.

"Where is she anyways?" I asked. They both shrugged.

"I'm gonna go look for her." I said. They nodded.

I walked out of the room and went downstairs. I saw Gilinsky sitting down on the couch with his head in his hands.

"What's up bro?" I asked.

"Steph isn't talking to me, She won't even let me touch her." He said looking at his feet.

"Oh I'm sorry bro. Do you know where she is?" I asked.

"Beach" he said still looking down. I walked outside and went to the beach.

I got there and looked for Stephanie right away. After a few minutes I found her. She was cradled into a ball. I ran over to her.

"Steph?" I said.

"I'm a worthless orphan." She said.

"What no your not." I said sitting next to her. She looked up from her knees and looked ahead.

"I'm not loved. And never will be loved Hayes." She said.

"That's not true! We all love you!" I exclaimed.

"That's what Madison said. When I was a kid. She said that. That's what I like about her. She tells me the truth." She said.

I looked at her and saw her tear stained cheeks. Her bloodshot eyes from lack of sleep. It was currently 2:30 am.

"But she doesn't."

"I'm ugly. Inside and out. I should go back to the orphanage because no one loves me or even wants me here! Not Jack, not Johnson, Not even, Shawn. I don't deserve to be here. I don't deserve to be"

"Be what?" I asked.

She looked at me. "Alive." She finished.

"No! You do deserve to be alive! You have every right to be alive! You don't deserve to be treated like this! And you sure as hell don't deserve to go back to that shit hole called a orphanage! You are a beautiful human being! Inside and out! You are not worthless by any means! You are special! You are loved and will forever be loved! I love you, Jack loves you, johnson loves you, Matt loves you, Taylor loves you, Carter loves you, Nash loves you, Cameron loves you, Shawn loves you. We all do. And we'll never stop." I said.

She looked at me and hugged me. I hugged her back squeezing her. She is a great person. She is like my older sister. I would never want to let her go.

We stopped hugging and stood up brushing the sand off of us.

"I love you Hayes. Thank you." She said as we walked back.

"I love you too Steph." I said.

"I-I should tell Jack about Madison." She said.

I smiled. "If that's what you want. And I'll be right next to you. I'll be there for you" I said.

"I love you Hayes." She said again.

"I love you too" I said once more putting my arm around her and kissed her cheek.

We reached the house. She took in a sharp breath.

"It's ok" I said hugging her.

We walked in and there stood Jack looking at Steph with hurt eyes.
