Chapter 1

Kousei's POV

As soon as the door is open, a light breeze carrying rose petals drifts past me. 'Oh no. Please tell me I did not just-'

"Welcome to the Host Club!" 

'-walk into the Host Club,' I internally groan. I've heard of these guys, the girls in class just won't shut up about them. I immediately turn to leave only for two people cling to both my arms.

"Well well, isn't this a surprise?" a voice sounds on my left.

"This commoner boy just so happens to be so openly gay." the guy on my right finishes. I flush red. Of course they would think that.

"I'm not gay, I was looking for an unused piano to do my work!" I already know they wouldn't believe me, but I have to try. Just as expected, they ignore everything I say and drag me away from the door.

"So what's your type? Someone like you, maybe you would like the cool type? Or maybe the strong, silent type, bound to protect your delicate self? How about the princely type, ppised to sweep you off your feet? Or perhaps," they leaned in and whisper in my ears, "the little twin devils type?" I push them away, recognizing them as the twins from my grade, we share a class actually, the ones that play the which twin is which game with everyone.

"I already told you it's not like that!" Gathering all my strength (which isn't that much to begin with. I'm a pianist. can you blame me?) I push them, only succeeding to knock us all off balance. I close my eyes try to move my arms to break my fall, but with the twins' death grips on my arms, I only succeed in getting it part way, leaving me to land awkwardly on my arm.

SNAP

Next thing I know, my arm is on fire. Well, not literally. It just feels like it. I glance at it to see that my forearm is bruised black and blue and definitely not as straight as it should have been and promptly throw up. On one of the twins.

He immediately jumps up and starts yelling at me. I ignore him as the pain consumes me and the world goes dark
