I wake, once again, in a hospital room. 'Why is it that all I've done since I met the Host Club is get hurt?' I think as Kyoya (at least I think it's Kyoya, I haven't put on my glasses yet) walks into the room. 'Damn, déjà vu.' I voice my thoughts (on getting hurt, not déjà vu) as I reach over and grab my glasses, only remember that the had broken.

"We apologise, it seems one of our customers didn't take too well to your presence in the club. Rest assured, she has been banned from the club," Kyoya informs me in response.

I knew what he was talking about. Many students disapproved of my attendance at Ouran Academy. Whispers followed me wherever I went, some intended for me to hear and and some not, but my trained ears picked them up anyway. They felt that as a commoner, and one who didn't receive a scholarship for academic prowess at that, had no right to attend school with them. They say that I only got in because the chairman's son (who I had learned was Tamaki) was a fan. Actually, I had gotten in by paying the tuition with all the money my mother had left me, Seto-san helping with what it didn't cover. I didn't have enough money for the uniform after, but the chairman allowed me to attend anyway, presumably because of my past reputation. Without piano taking most of my time, I've managed to keep my grades good, and so long as they stayed that way, I could continue to attend Ouran Academy.

"I find myself questioning whether or not I should continue association with you and your club. All it has done is bring me harm," I state dryly.

"You owe us, Arima. You will do well not to forget that," he replied in equal tone. I could only sigh.

"I suppose I do." I close my eyes and lean back.

"Speaking of which, I had originally come tell you that your debt has been increased due to extra medical expenses and the replacement for your glasses." I jolt up, careful of my arm, to find Kyoya holding out a sleek black case. I take it and look inside, finding a pair of glasses of an expensive brand, far more so than I could afford. I sigh once more.

"Also, upon seeing you struggle with running errands, and how you look in glasses that actually suit you-" Kyoya continues.

"What's wrong with my-" I start.

"-and with your hair fixed," my good hand flies up to my head. Though it didnt seem like there was too much change, I panicked slightly at the idea that they had cut my hair while i was unconscious. "Tamaki has decided to promote you a to a host. Well, host in training," he finishes. I can only gape. None of the protests that pop up in my mind manage to make the trip out if my mouth.

After he leaves the room, I swear I can see a shadow of her smiling and giving me a thumbs up. I groan and lie back on the bed. 'This is going to be a long school year.'
