Chapter 10: Finally

(Michelle's Pov)

I woke up at 6 am. I couldn't sleep no more, the urge to get out of here already was big. Sitting in the silence, I started think about a lot of stuff in my life. I wanted to move out of where I lived. I kinda wanted to go back to Texas, I wanted to see my family & friends I left behind in Houston. I think it would be good for me to go back a few years. Maybe I find my true love, I thought about Joshua. He's so sweet, he makes me feel special. Its like if I've known him for years, weird right? But seeing Jacky's reaction, how could he be into a girl like him? She's so rude, annoying & all the worst things you could say. I noticed my phone was in the table next to me. I grabbed it & saw I had a few notifications. One of them was from Joshua.

Its him again, I quickly pressed accept.

You & Joshua (l/n) are now friends!

Yes that made me happy. Why? No idea.

*2 hours later*

I didn't even remember when I fell asleep again, but I was awaken by someone.

(Joshua's Pov)

So I'm on my way to pick up Michelle. Yes Victoria was supposed to come, but she had to finish some paperwork at work. So I offered to come, I feel nervous. I can't wait to see her. I parked in the nearest spot & walked inside.

Joshua: Good Morning ma'am. I came to pick up Michelle Flores

Lady: Morning, & sure just please sign this paperwork.

*10 mins later*

After I finished the paperwork, I went up to her room to go get her. I opened the door, & saw her sleeping like an angel. Even when she's asleep she's so cute. I wanted to kiss her, I slowly went up to her & just looked at her, admiring her beauty. Something took control over me & i suddenly was inches away from her lips. There so kissable. I bit my lower lip, & was about to kiss her. But I stopped myself & whispered in her ear.

Joshua: Good Morning, sleeping beauty it's time to leave.

(Michelle's Pov)

??: Good Morning, sleeping beauty it's time to leave.

Michelle: Huh? Morning. I said as I yawned.

I rubbed my eyes & i saw thoes big gorgeous brown eyes I seen before it was "him"

Joshua: I came to pick you up, Victoria had to finish some paperwork at work & couldn't come.

Michelle: It's ok, umm can you hand me my stuff? It's in the sofa.

Joshua: Yes of course.

He said, while he handed me my clothes & personal items.

Michelle: Thanks, I'm going to the restroom be right back.

I went into the restroom, & took a good look at myself after what felt forever. I saw black bags under my eyes, my hair was a mess. I looked pale & really tired. I looked so discusting, how would someone love somebody so horrible like me. I took that thought out of my mind & started to wash my face, brush my teeth, come my hair, & change into my clothes. When I looked again I felt a bit better. My stomach growled, I was hungry. I also was super tired, I wanted my bed. I gave myself the finishing touches & got out. Joshua was looking down at his phone, he looked up.

Joshua: You look beautiful, whoops. He said
Quickly covering his mouth.

Michelle: Haha, umm thanks I said winking.

Joshua: Let's get going, I'm starving wanna go eat?

Michelle: Yes please, I could eat a cow right now. I said giggling

We went to the front, I got my medications/papers, and walked out. Joshua grabbed my hand, since I was feeling a bit dizzy. His hand with my hand felt so perfect together. He looked at me, smiling he said.

Joshua: I hope you don't feel weird me holding your hand.

Michelle: No of course not, thanks for comming for me.

Joshua: Of course, I would do anything for you.

Did he really just say that?
I blushed, I hope he didn't notice.
We got in the car, & drove to Chesscake Factory. Yum I loved eating there. We got out, & once again he grabbed my hand as we walked in. It felt so right. We sat down & he spoke.

Joshua: So what are you gonna get?

Michelle: I dunno know, you?

Joshua: No idea, I'm so hungry I want everything in the menu. He let out a laugh making me laugh as well.

Waiter: Hello may I take your orders?

We both told him our orders, as he walked away.
I sipped my drink, & spoke.

Michelle: So tell me about yourself.

Joshua: Well as you know my name is Joshua. I'm 23 years old, I'm from Miami Florida. I have 3 sisters, one of them is married & is pregnant. I live with my mom and one sister in an apartment. My dad, he's somewhere, I didn't grow up with him. What about you?

Michelle: Sorry to hear that, Well I'm Michelle & im flawless. The end I said laughing

Joshua: Ha ha, very funny I'm foreal tell me. He said giggling

Michelle: Alright alright, little girl take a chill pill. I'm Michelle, 19 years old, I'm from Houston. I have an older brother named Chris, he's 27 he lives in Houston as well with my mom & my whole family. My dad, umm he's in jail. He was an abusive father & so I don't have good memories with him.

Joshua: I'm so sorry to hear that Michelle.

The waiter came & handed us our food. Man it smell delish

Joshua: Mmhh, let's eat girl.

We ate our food & talked the whole time. I had a good time, I learned alot from him. He's has something that just attracts me to him. I think I like him.

He paid for our food, & we left.
He drove me home.

Michelle: Thanks Joshua for picking me up & taking me to eat I had a nice time.

Joshua: No problem, I did as well. Hey you should give me your number so we can keep in touch.

Michelle: Yes sure thing,

He handed me his phone, & I gave him mine. We put our numbers in & said our goodbyes.

I walked in & I see Angel standing right in front of me.
