Chapter 19: Meet my Ex

(Michelle's Pov)

I woke up, feeling the warmth of someone's body next to mine. I slowly opened my eyes, the light comming from the window. Fuck, my head hurted so bad. I turned to the side a bit reveling a very cute sleeping Chris next to me. I carefully got out of his grip, but failed.

Chris: Good morning beautiful!
He said in his raspy morning voice.

Michelle: Good morning Chris, sleep well?

Chris: Who wouldn't sleep well next to you? He said giving me a smirk.

I blushed

Michelle: haha, my head hurts so bad. Do you have aspirins?

He nodded, as he got out of bed & into the restroom. He came back with 2 pills. Let me go get you a glass of water.

While Chris went for the water, I decided to check my phone. I had a text from Joshua....

Joshy❤: Good morning my beautiful amazing princess💗. I can't wait to see you already😍. I'm sorry for everything that's happened. I promise I'll make it up to you. I miss you, come home already. 😘

I blushed so hard & I didn't realize Chris was already back in the room.

Chris: What are you smiling so hard at? He said a bit jealous.

Michelle: Chris, you scared me. Nothing important, thanks for the water.

I took it from his hands, and began to swallow the pills.

Michelle: Hey can you take me home now?

Chris: Sure

He said a bit pissed.

Time passed and we were now standing right infront of my front door.

Michelle: Thanks for supporting me yesterday. It really means a lot to me, I said hugging him.

Chris: Anytime Michelle, just know that you can count on me for whatever you need. I'll be here.

He said hugging back.

We let go & exchanged numbers.

Chris: Well your home now, so I guess I'll better get....

Michelle: Why don't you come in meet my roomates?

Chris smiled & nooded

Chris: sure thanks.

He pulled me close, to the point were we were one again inches apart. I could feel his breath hit my pale cold face. Just  when he was about to kiss me. A door opened

??: *clears throat* Am I interrupting something?

(2 hours before)

(Regina's Pov)

We were all up early to prepare something special for Michelle.

Angel was making his famous pancakes, with eggs & bacon.

Osvaldo was out, buying balloons, confetti & party decorations to welcome Michelle back.

Joshua, was making a tres leches cake for Michelle.

& I was setting up the living room with some board games.

Everything was turning out perfect.

An hour later, Michelle had texted me she was going to be home soon. We all started to decorate with ballons, party hats & blowers. And a "Missed You Michelle!" Poster. Angel decided to write an apology letter to Michelle & take her out on a date tonight. While Joshua, was on the phone with Bitc-- I mean Jacky on the phone. I swear I couldn't stand her. Osvaldo well he was just being Osvaldo.

I was super excited for my bestfriend to be back. Im still curious to who that 'friend' of her's is. She's gonna have to give me every single detail of last night.

(Joshua's Pov)

"Yeah ok" I said annoyed through the phone.

I was currently talking to Jacky. She said she was sorry & that she was really worried from my distance. I told her I would make it up to her. I love Michelle with all my soul. But it's complicated. I also still had feelings for Jacky & I was just confused. I knew I still loved Jacky. Since the moment I saw her I loved her so dearly. I went through a lot to get to finally try something with her. But with Elley it was different. We just connected since the start. Like if I knew her my whole life. I could joke with her, talk with her, be open & feel at home when I was with her. Something I've never felt with Jacky & never will. Michelle is just special one of a kind.

Otp (on the phone)

Jacky: babe, I love you so much & I want us to work out.

Joshua: I know, & I love you even more.  I promise everything will change. How about we go to Santa Monica tonight? Eat at that fancy restaurant, then go to the beach?

Jacky: Omg, babe yess yess yess. I would love that. See ya soon?

Joshua: Yes princess see ya soon. I love you

Jacky: I love you too baby.

I hunged up, & decided to go check if Michelle was here yet.

I peeped through the window & saw a guy extremely close to my Elley. I could feel my blood starting to boil.

I ran to the door & opened it up.

"Am I interrupting something?" I said as I cleared my throat.

(Michelle's Pov)

Chris immediatly let go of me & looked extremely mad by just looking at his facial expressions. As for I was burning red, my eyes met with the ones I fell for. Him. (A/N im going to change the dialogue a bit from now on. I feel it's easier)

"Oh Joshua.. haha um hey" I said cleary nervous. He gave me a look that said I had a lot of explaining to do. "Chris meet one of my roomates Joshua. Joshy this is Chris an old friend" They both gave eachother a glare while they shook hands. I could feel the tension in the air surrounding us. Luckly Regina came to the door & broke the awkwardness. "Michelle, omg I missed you bitch!" Regina said giving me the biggest hug ever. She let go & started at Chris. "So you must be Chris, nice to meet you im Regina, Michelle's friend & roomate. Why don't you come on in instead of standing outside?" She motioned for us to go inside. Regina whispered into my ear. "you got lost of explaining to do later" while she began to giggle along with me. "SUPRISE!!" yelled Angel & Osvaldo. I began to realize they had banners ballons, cake & food everywhere just for me. "Aww thanks guys for the surprise" I said cheerfully. I couldn't believe they did everything just for me. Angel began walking towards me. " Hey Michelle, I'm so glad your back safe. Look I really wanted to apologize for what I did. I really messed up, but I want to make it up. Would you go on a date with me tonight?" He said with pleeding eyes. His apology felt genuine. "Angel I forgive you, & yes i'll glady go with you. Just don't leave me planted on a beach again. Cause I will kill you haha" he gave me a toothy smile " I won't" he gave me a hug & a blue paper. He whispered "read it when you can alone." I smiled. "Michelle glad your back" Osvaldo said while he side hugged me. "Thanks Aldo, Guys I want you to meet Chris an old friend & the one who made sure I was brought back home safe. Chris these are all my roomates as you me Regina & Joshua, Osvaldo  Regina's boyfriend. & Angel" They all said hi & talked for a bit. Joshua on the other hand couldn't take his eyes off of me. He looked jealous of Chris & now of Angel. "Guys sorry for being a bummer but im going up to my room" I said while I gave joshua an eye contact to follow me upstairs when he had the chance. They all agreed, Chris left & I made myself to my room. Ah how I loved being back in my room.
