I was sitting in class, extremely bored and not paying attention when a note got passed to me.

It said:

I found out who started the rumor. Follow Sydney Van Dyke and Destani Prater around for anything suspicious.

I should have known! Those two are always the ones to start rumors and never get caught, but this time I'm not going to let that happen. I looked around for who could've passed the note. I saw Bree looking back at me nodding.

After what seemed like hours, the bell finally rang. I ran outside to the main place where I see them most because I have some people to find. I spotted them, and quietly listened from behind them. They were saying things like, " They basically have to give up their personal lives now." and " Lindsey had to break up with Parker." (another rumor they started)

After the other people or 'crowd' had left, I wasted no time. " Just what do you think you're doing?!?" I asked sternly. " Oh Maddy Jo! Pleasure seeing you here!" Destani said sounding afraid. " Answer the question!" I demanded. " Oh just telling the truth!" Sydney said with a fake smile. " Did you know our roommate now thinks we hate her? Where do you think she heard that? Care to explain?" I said so angry I almost sounded like my dad. " We just told her what she needed to hear. Now if you excuse us we need to go." Destani said sounding a little scared.

" Wait! I don't know if we've formally met! My name is Maddy Jo and this is my fist. Which if you don't go tell my roommate the truth will probably hurt you." I said. " Never gonna happen in a million years." Destani scoffed at me. " Suit Yourself!" I said. Then with all my might I punched her square in the jaw. " You want to be like this?" I asked Sydney, but she just smiled. I turned around and saw an angry teacher coming towards me.

"Maddy Jo Hartridge you're coming with me!" He said sternly. He grabbed me by the ear, pulling me to who knows where. " Umm. So where are we headed?" I asked hoping he wouldn't say the worst. " The principal's office." He sneered.

Oh great.......
