Acts 27:31
31 Then Paul said to the centurion and the
soldiers, "Unless these men stay with the ship, you cannot be saved." Often in times of desperation, we seek our own way, when God has already declared His purpose for our lives. If we listen not to the voice of God through the prophets, and we pretend, like the
sailors did in verse 30, to be working towards our own salvation and not waiting on the Lord, trying to achieve a good purpose,
when we are actually seeking our own path- Brethren, the Spirit of the Lord is upon me today, declaring that Unless we stay with Him in the hopeless situation, unless we walk with him, unless we restrain ourselves and wait for the storm to pass, ah, we shall perish. Oh, if only
you could wait upon the Lord, for your marriage without fornicating, wait for the job without
giving a bribe, wait for that breakthrough, if only you could stand by your sacrifice. My God, the God of
Jacob has decreed that even though you'll reach the shore on planks and pieces of wood, He has sworn, and By no NAME other than HIS Holy Name, that.. ..IN THIS WAY EVERYONE will reach land in safety. Acts 27:44. May the Grace of God be with you.
