Hermione and Draco walked around for awhile and it started to snow. They walked through the trees still, arms locked together. Hermione was smiling so brightly, she was ecstatic. She had believed Draco was a better person and it made her mad when others wouldn't believe it. She and Draco walked into a pretty forest, which was covered in snow.

"It's so pretty!" She exclaimed, looking around. The snow sparkled when light reflected off it. It looked like little diamonds in the snow. She smiled.

"It is an eyeful isn't it?" He said. He looked around too.

"Yes..." She looked up at Draco. She watched him. His eyes twinkled. She loved his eyes. His hair. Everything about him.

"So amazing...." She said without noticing.

"It is." He replied. She let out a sigh if relief. She was talking about him but he didn't realize it. She reached into her bag and pulled out a tarp. She spread it across the ground an day down. Draco joined her.

They both lay back on the tarp staring into the beautiful sky. The sun was setting. It was the perfect day, to her at least. She was spending it with Draco. She was probably the happiest girl alive. She had always had a crush on Draco but never said anything. She didn't know how he felt, but he was unusually nice to her.

"Draco, are you feeling okay?" She asked.

"Fine, why?" He asked. He looked over at her. Their eyes locked.

"Just wondering.. You've been unusually nice to me. Not that I don't like it! But it feels different." She said.

He sighed. "I know. I'm trying to make up for all the bad things I've done to you and your friends..." He trailed off.

"I know, Draco." She looked at him and smiled. "I understand you've changed. I'm happy for you." She said.

He smiled happily at her.

"Thank you, Hermione." He said. He acted as though he had something else to say but pushed it away. They both lay back down.

"Are you hungry, Draco?" She asked.

"A little bit." He replied. She pulled her bag out from behind her. She pulled out plates and cups and set them down. She then reached in and pulled out a jug of pumpkin juice and so rolls and chicken. She placed them down.

"Eat up!" She smiled.

They ate together an packed up.

"Oh gosh! It's almost eight o' clock! We have to be back by eight!" She looked alarmed and so did he. They quickly folded the tarp and placed it in the bag. He grabbed her hand and they ran back to the school. Just before the doors closed they entered the school.

"Thank you, Draco. I had fun today. You really brightened my mood!" She smiled at him.

"No problem, Hermione. I could say the same to you. You made my day so much better." He returned the smile. They exchanged hugs.

"Goodbye, Hermione." He said.

"Goodnight, Draco." She said. They walked back to their separate common rooms. She showered and got in bed. She smiled before drifting off to sleep.
