I don't own the characters, just parts of the plot. :)
{ Chorís Nóima POV }
The rec room was in complete discord, all the campers were arguing with each other. The arguments ranged from serious topics to ones about which types of lotions are better for lava scars. I'm guessing no one took down that evil rock wall.
The room was much more crowded now because there were more councilors representing all the new cabins. There were only 10 chairs though, for all the Olympians who had kids. For some reason though, a chair near the front of the room was empty.
'That was my seat...' I thought. 'Did Poseidon not have any more kids? That is really weird for a god.'
As soon as we entered the room, it got eerily quiet; everybody looked at us. They either looked with fear or with caution.
"This camp got some serious trust problems since I've left." I muttered to Luke.
"You think? I think that Nemesis councilor wants to kill me." He muttered back.
All of soldiers slowly moved into the area and everybody else just kept on staring us down. The hairs on my back rose, it was getting really uncomfortable in this room.
Travis, who was on my left, whispered into my ear in a worried voice, "They're probably staring at my flat butt aren't they?"
I sighed pretty loudly. "For the last time Thief, your butt is fine."
But Travis kept on continuing, "Is my butt really that bad? Do you think Forge could make a cloak that can make it look it bigger."
Beckendorf heard his name. "Sure, I'm going to spend ten hours of my life to create a cloak that has the ability to make your butt look great." He said with his voice dipped and covered in sarcasm.
'Wow, who knew Forge had the sass in him.' I thought to myself as Travis and Beckendorf kept on whispering to each other.
As much I wanted to join back into their bicker, we had a war to fight. I walked towards the front of the room like I did as Percy many times before. Although this time, Luke walked behind since he's my second in command. When I reached the front, I almost sat down in my usual spot at the head of the table. I was about to sit down but I saved myself and it looked like some dance move went wrong. If anyone asks, I have an allergy to plastic folding chairs.
When all of my team in the back were comfortable Annabeth started to talk. It was obvious that she's the lone "head" of the camp. A position we sorta shared years ago.
"As you all may know, there is a new war on our hands and we don't know who we're fighting against. Lord Chaos was grateful enough to lend us his soldiers to help us train and defend our camp."
She paused and looked up at me; contemplating whether if she should continue her lines. It was a pause too long, as an uncomfortable silence settled over the room.
Annabeth, who noticed her mistake, continued, "Ok guys, I know this seems weird, but we need to trust them. We need help for our war and they have agreed to help train us."
"Yes, my soldiers will help prepare you for battles to come. If you talk to my second in command, he will arrange everything."
"What about you?" yelled a kid who I think was in the Iris cabin, she was wearing a rainbow shirt so I think my guess was ok.
I replied back to her, "I'm going to take a feel of this place, most likely our enemy will attack Camp Half-Blood. Later, I will meet up with A-Annabeth to discuss battle strategies." I said the last with a strain in my voice. I'll do anything to avoid her.
