(Kanan pov)
Come on Kanan, wake up!
I wake up instantly after hearing Ezra's voice in my head. I'm lying against the Ghost, and I'm sore all over. I remember the Inquisitor pushing me against the Ghost, and Ezra rushing into battle with his lightsaber.
I look up from my feet and see a horrible sight: Jessie and Leo pinned down by stomtroopers, still struggling, the crew still firing back at more Imperial reinforcements, and finally, my beloved Padawan, at the mercy of the Inquisitor, a red lightsaber over his neck.
"Ezra!" I scream and pull myself up. I use the Force to grab my lightsaber and ignite it. The Inquisitor laughs as Emma and Arianna stare at Ezra hopelessly, not firing. A blaster bolt hits Arianna in the shoulder and she collapsed onto Emma, unconscious.
"Hello, Jedi. How is your Padawan?" The Inquisitor taunts.
I growl deep in my throat. "Let him go, Inquisitor."
"And why should I do that?" The Pau'uan asks, still smiling evilly. "My Master is expecting him. Otherwise, I will meet a terrible fate. And I have no interest in that. I do hope you understand, Kanan." He mocks. Ezra's eyes widen in hate. His lightsaber lies beside him, inactivated. I start to reach for it using the Force, but it floats away and into the hand of a certain black-haired girl.
"Emma?" Ezra asks the girl holding his lightsaber. She activates it.
"Let him go," she warns the evil pinning Ezra down. Arianna lies on Sabine's lap, out cold, even with all of the blaster and lightsaber sounds.
The Inquisitor hauls Ezra up and pinning his arms behind his back, throws his double-bladed lightsaber at Emma. She blocks it–surprisingly–and the flying lightsaber goes awry and hits a stray stormtrooper happening to be in the way, who collapses with a satisfying thud.
"Grrrrrr...." The Inquisitor growls as an Imperial shuttle approaches from the air and lowers its ramp. "Well, this has been fun, but I'm afraid the Padawan and I have other things to attend to. Enjoy." He Force-leaps onto the shuttle's open ramp, taking Ezra with him. I reach where he was a second too late.
"Kanan!" Ezra shouts.
"Ezra!" Emma and I both yell at the same time. The shuttle flies away, taking my Padawan with it.
