Jin's POV
I was told the news. My mother was murdered. She didn't survive. I feel depressed but want to stay smiling for the performance. I hope I don't give up before our big battle. I have been practising hard and don't want give up on everyone now. We only have 4 hours until we fight. We are still behind the curtains, getting our suits ready and getting our makeup on. I've never liked make up, so I decided to stick with a more natural suit as well. With just jeans and a flannel shirt, I was ready to dance. I walk in circles and snap my fingers, until I bump into someone. I look up and see Joshua smiling down at me.
"I am so sorry..." I say while backing up and blushing furiously. Why is he so cute?
"It's okay, I wasn't looking where I was going," He replied sweetly, and I step back. I bow and walk past him, running to Won, and jumping on his back.
"Woah, what's going on?" He calls and I whisper in his ear.
"Guess who I just met today?"
"Who?"
"Joshua."
"What the-"
"He is cute."
He looks at me a bit sad, but then cheers himself up quickly. I feel so lucky to have him around. Someone to talk to, and someone to enjoy life with. Someone to share my ideas and secrets with. I look at his suit, and smile.
"You look so cute," I chuckle, and turns his face, a little flustered. We walk up to Hyo, to find her shaking her hands and stretching. We tap her shoulder and she stands straight.
"Yes?"
I look at her, just as nervous as the others.
"When do we go on stage?" I ask and she looks at me, shrugging.
"We just go up when the Hostess calls our name. It's as simple as that." She replies bluntly, and we nod before walking up to the DJ.
"Hello, we are wondering if you could help tell us when to go on stage?" Won asks and the DJ just nods, telling us to go on stage when a beat starts playing.
"And now we have... Seventeen!" The Hostess calls out, as the fabulous Kpop group step out on the stage. We get our mics hooked onto us as we jumped up and down. As the members of Seventeen introduced themselves, I stared through a gap in the curtain at Joshua. I see him catch a glimpse of me staring and I immediately turn my head. Won comes up to me and puts a hand on my shoulder.
"You're going to do fine. Just relax." He said, and I hug him. I twiddle my thumbs and bite my lip as the Hostess calls out the next group. "Now, time for us show Seventeen's competition... Revolution!" I jump up and down before following Hyo past the curtains into the spotlight, as the beat plays quietly. I flinch at the stares at us, but try to stay calm. I place my eyes on Joshua, and have a fangirl moment in my head. We step back as Seventeen play 'Shining Diamond' and get their positions ready. I see The8 walking up to the front, posing and then walking back, like a model. I have a little fantasy in my head including all of them, but mainly Joshua. I then shake those thoughts out of my head when they finished, and I clapped as loud as I could, to soon realise that they weren't finished! I quickly run behind Won, cringing at the awkwardness and embarrassment. A few minutes later they posed, and I asked Hyo if it was finished before clapping again. They got up, and walk towards us, before lining up and shaking our hands. I felt so happy, I didn't realise how much of a fangirl I was until now. I got up the front of the stage and got in position for my turn. The music started, and I took a deep breath before letting my body take over. I closed my eyes and waited for the chorus. I saw Won jump up to the front, taking place of Jeonghan, as I ran in front, and sang with my part "Neoreul Noraehae U-Hoo Neoreul Noraehae U-Hoo!" I wave my hands and smile. The song finished, and I panted. I stayed in position, to find Won start his solo dance. He did a back flip and started dancing, while smiling, and he winked before running to the back of the stage. Immediately after, Kai did a back handspring flip over Hyo's head and started to twirl and sing. She was REALLY good. She finished with a hair flip and ran to the back of the stage next to Won, giving him a high five. I smiled at them and watched Hyo go up and perform her dance. Her specialty is Tap dance, so she did a quick tap shuffle thingy and ended with a smile. I watched the other girls walk up in a big group and pose, before walking back. Why didn't they dance? It was my turn to go on stage so I sprinted up and pushed up as high as I could to do a front flip. I got back into position to let the music play. My specialties were Vocals, Acting and Hip hop and modern dance. I feel the beat and take a deep breath before letting my body sway. I hear people clapping behind me, and I smile. I hear Jam Jam play and get ready - I love to dance to this song. I finish dancing to Jam Jam and start singing to Because of You. I hear Won join in with singing as he walks up and rests his arm on my shoulder. He is a REALLY good singer! I look behind and see Joshua biting his lip, and Hyo smiling from ear to ear. The other girls and Hyo walk up and start singing and a few dancing as Won and I sat at the centre of the stage, staring into each other's eyes, singing the main vocals. The song ended and the crowd roared with clapping an whistles. I got up and grabbed Won's hand and we all lined up to bow. We wave at the stage and walk back to the boys of Seventeen.
"Thank you for this experience, guys" I hear Hyo start talking to Seventeen. "You see that girl over there? She used to be so shy and quiet that she would hide in the corner of the room whenever she can. I thank you for helping her overcome that..." she winks. I walk around, minding my own business, but a hand grabs my shoulder. I turn before thinking and hug him.
"We had a great time" I whisper to Won. I look up and see that the person I was hugging... Wasn't Won. It was Joshua. I let go and immediately apologise. "I am very sorry, I thought you were Won..." My eyes traced off and I thought about it. Why is he so cute? Why does he smell so good? Why is he so soft and warm? I look back to see Joshua staring at me, but he soon snaps out of it when our eyes meet.
"My name is Joshua. What is your name?" He asks, and I almost faint from his charms.
"My name is Seukyeo Jin" I say, bowing. He bows and looks into my eyes, smiling.
"You were amazing out there! I'm sure Pledis would love to have you!" He started, and I blush furiously. Dang it, Joshua! Don't go killing me from cuteness!
Won's POV
I saw her with Joshua, and felt so happy. If she is happier with him, she can be with him, I have no right to stop her. Just please, Joshua, don't go breaking her heart.
