In Between Their Worlds. (Discontinued.)

Chapter 4.

The sun arose early in the morning and there was only one awake, it was the young warrior Garrett. His partner in his lap asleep now. She had finally came to conciousness about at the middle of the night. His worries were lowed then. Kat and kota had made their tent and slept there. The three made a deal that whoever woke up first in their group would have to find food. Sure as hell Garrett wishe d he hadn't have stayed up alll night watching over his partner, but he wanted Mary to be safe.

"God damn.. Its been so song since ive stayed up a whole night... Im useally the one who goes to sleep first, anywhere." said garrett as he tried to get up without disturbing Mary from her slumber. He lifted her up and looked around to see where to lay her down. But she slowly awoke with a very sleepy but loving small sentence with a kiss on his cheek, "Good morning my hero." He stopped in his tracks and set her down on the ground and hugged her. "Good morning to you aswell." Garrett had said with a smile. Mary took his hand into hers and said, "Now, lets go find some food for us and our new friends?"

After what seemed like two hours or so they brought back a rabbit and some black berries. When they got to the camp Kat had already made a fire to cook what they had agot and kota went out to get some water. "It took you two long enough, was it hard to find something to eat?" kat said as she poked the fire with a stick. "Not really.. It was just the rabbit that made us take forever." Mary said as she moved over by the fire. Garrett asked for her bowie knife and went  over to some bushes to skin and gut the rabbit.

When he had finished Kota was finally back with the water and after they had ate they went on to their journey.

"So, how in the hell are we going to know where we're going next, eh?" kota said to garrett. Garrett looked down upon him and took the map he had in his pocket. Kota felt a bit embarassed for trying to raise himself above garrett but he didnt care.

The four noticed that while they were walking the color of their scenery starting to fade to black and white. "What the hell is happening..?!" Mary said as she turned around to look at the colored part of the land they had walked on. The four looked at each other and noticed things. They could see their complections had changed. 

Around their eyes were dark circles and their pupil's were a bright crimson color. The skin on their bodies were a very light colored grey or a blinding white. Mary and kota's look was a half human and the other a curled up, sharp-teeth bearing smile that went almot all the way up to the top of their heads but on oppisite sides. Garrett had had his hair grow a bit longer with a gas mak with spikes on it and one whole eye was completely blackend out. Kat had her hair up in a messy bun with a both of her eyes blackened out but where her original eye color had stopped there was a red ring around it. Their chests had glown with a bright red where there hearts were. They all had felt somewhat weakened though even though most of them had a high ammount of energy and very strong. They were completly horrified but confused at the same time. What in the hell had happened?

"I.. w-why do i match you mary..?" kota said as he walked over to her. She stayed quiet because she knew, she knew that he.. Kota.. Was her brother. Kota had finally caught of to why she was silenced and he dropped to the ground and broke-down. He finally found his twin.
