A/N: Ok, so I ended up writing a whole one thousand words, and then decided I wasn't happy about it. So then, I deleted my beautiful writing, and then started over. So sorry if this chapter sucks. Thanks!
SABRINA'S POV -- Age fifteen
My life was only going downhill. I've been getting worse at everything. Training, behaving, hoping... living. It was all just too much. I wasn't sure what was going on around me. Hell, I didn't even know where I was, what the date was, or how old I was!
Everyday I would think about my family. I wondered how they were coping. It felt like decades since I had gone outside, or even been out of this room, other than the training arena. I couldn't help but feel slightly angry at them. Were they even looking for me? Did they even care? Maybe they replaced me with a new bionic?
A soft sigh escaped my lips as I stared down at my calloused hands. Over time I had built up muscle and endurance. I was definitely improving with my bionics... but not with the human part of me. I was more depressed than ever, and lacking basic nutrition. Everyday was a struggle for me. I was so tempted to just play dead. Maybe if Anon thought I was dead, he'd dump my body somewhere. And then I could escape.
But it was a stupid idea. Man, I wish I had Chase's intelligence. If it were any of the other bionics, they would've escaped ages ago. I'm just a weak little girl, lost in this cruel, cruel world. Why did Anon even want me? If he wanted me for ransom, he would have already gotten rid of me. But it was obvious he wanted me for my abilities. I just didn't know why. Hopefully he wouldn't turn me into some kind of... villain, or something.
When I was suddenly snapped from my thoughts, it was from the metal door creaking open. I gulped, hands beginning to tremble significantly. Anon stumbled in, fists clenched by his sides.
"C'mon, weakling, get up. Time for more training," he grunted.
I was so tired though. I was exhausted. Fatigue was threatening to overcome my body, and I just couldn't take it. I was so tired, and my body ached from... everything. Sleeping on a stone floor, training hard, and lack of food and water. I was ready to pass out and give up on life.
"I said, get up!" he growled, lunging forward. I cried out as he grabbed onto my upper arm with a steel-like grip. I reluctantly got to my feet, with my legs shaking noticeably. I could feel my body ready to fall. I was ready to give in to this cruel life. I hated it. I hated everything around me.
Anon practically dragged me from my cell, making me dumbly stumble behind him. He ignored my whimpers of pain, quickly shoving me into the training room.
After about five minutes of training, I had collapsed onto the floor. I was sweating profusely, and my whole body was sore. I was panting heavily, staring up at the ceiling with glazed eyes. My hair was sprawled underneath me, with a couple of stray pieces clinging to my face due to the sweat.
"What the fuck do you think you're doing?" Anon snapped, standing up above me with an intimidating aura around him.
"I-I'm t-tired," I stuttered weakly.
